I have been driving my little Up for almost 7 years now - it's the BEST car EVER!!!!!!! I am so in love with it. I wish it had more boot-space, but I'm so happy with my little Up. Drive it every day. Feels like a luxury car. Driving and handling is fantastic.

I have this one, with 75 hp. Its perfectly fine, except that it's boring. Before this one a had a Mini cooper I like it much more. It was 125hp and response on the steering wheel there was amazing, driving it was a real fun.

For the Up, the best one is the 90ps High Up. If you're happy with 60ps, the best value in the Seat Mii SE/Toca

The radiator is at the front like normal cars, not side like the old mini. Space is made with a small 3 cycliner engine and a boot that uses the full hight of the rear bumper for internal space.

had a polo before. this has the same mpg but the road tax in netherlands is way less for this small A segment car.

Superlative review especially as it includes comparisons with its rivals, saving lots of pre-purchase research. But...the most important consideration that trumps almost everything else, not broached..driving fun.

Surely the reason the Up has more interior space than the Fiat is because the latter has a chopped off rear end profile. Where's the upper half of the Fiat's rear end?

I will have had my up! for 10 years in September, what I love so much about it is the fact you look entirely normal, If I see a police car and I have 6 or 7 Guiness in me (which is a good chunk of the time) I whistle and sing a cute little tune "tra la la la la, I'm just a normal ole man, don't pay no mind to me, tra la la la la, I've drank no Guinness and smoked no weed, tra la la la la" and because the car is conducive to the image of me being a somewhat dithering old man who swerves about a bit and hesitates here n there where perhaps others wouldn't it works out very nicely for me, great car for middle aged drunks/drug users 9/10

I need this car !! The issue, I live in the USA. I won't buy a EV, only Gas, and only a manual trans. VW in their greed has chosen not to sell the UP in the USA. Seems they want a larger profit margin than a little car can provide. So I'm sure I'll have to purchase a Asian car of some sort. The car market just lacks the fun it once had in America. I've owned several VW's over the years, I'd like to be loyal, VW you're making it hard to stay loyal.

Huge respect to your choice in cars, nothing better than little manual European city cars and hatchbacks! - From the UK

The problem is that you are an exception. Almost nobody likes small cars with tiny engines in USA. So VW would lose money bringing it to USA. But from humanly side I understand you. This car would save tons of money. I have Seat Mii Electric (the same VW Up but with different badge) and I love it.

@@sabakag I disagree, I live in a college town in Colorado, a VW UP would fit right in this community much as the old beetle did. The manual tranny would need to be taught to the younger people, however I know plenty of younger people and all say they want to learn to drive a manual trans, but they haven't had the opportunity too! This is really a matter of Bucks, VolksWagon makes Bucks DeLuxe on bigger vehicles and that's really the root of the issue. MONEY! We want the car, They want the money!
