Sir how can the work in isobaric expansion be positive if in expansion or compression the external pressure is acting on the gas in the opposite direction in compression or expansion of gas so external pressure is taken negative always and the formula is dW=-P(Vf-Vi) so in expansion Vf is greater and work is negative
Pressure is not taken negative the difference between vf and vi is negative
It's been a year idt it matters anymore
