I understand where you're coming from, but refusing to speak up because you assume that the victim of a stabbing was a gangbanger just because they're young is bs. And drug users/dealers and people in gangs aren't "completely innocent" of course, but they can be rehabilitated. He chose not to get justice for his friend. The men in question received manslaughter charges, despite stabbing someone over 10 times… they left him for dead in a public street. The men in question, received 7 years for man slaughter. Had the victims friend spoke up, they would have received Murder and a longer sentence. Stop letting your ego and the ends stop you from doing what’s right. Stop letting evil people get away with these horrific crimes. You don’t know the pain until it affects you directly. It will do one day as it affects us all.

If you saw your friend get killed infront of you when the guys that killed him were originally trying to kill you? You would stay quiet? This is the problem we have. The police and justice system are useless we get that, but speak up for your friend that no longer has a voice, try and support the community to end gang violence, raise awareness ect... nothing is being done about the problem, just more young lives lost and too many people scared to speak.
