I couldn't have hoped for anything better, and I've continued to love them all over the years and still listen today. Rest In Peace Chester, may God be with you and know that we are all thinking of you, and your music and message has left a footprint on us that will never go away.
Although I was born 2 years after its initial release, In The End was replayed over and over on the radio, and it forever marked my favorite song by them. Chester had "pushed as far as I can go," and I think "there's only one thing you should know," that's in life, you can try all you want, but if things go awry, it "doesn't even matter."
What's even more sad is that he died on the same day one of his best friends Chris Cornell would have turned 53. He really took Cornell's death very hard. It's really sad that he took his life in this way :(
