Chris is right about just get on the road. I started with a love truck with a shell on it and bed in back with a cabinet. All my stuff would go into the cab when I would sleep. That was in 73. I have had 5 different rigs and I find you really don’t need much. Now I have a built out old sprinter and carry a dual sport on back. Things have really changed over the years. I feel I have been everywhere in the US, but still so much more. YALL ARE BOTH GREAT. I really ENJOY YOUR ADVENTURES.

Hi guys! Love you both and you're videos - watching here in New Zealand 😊 I use citronella to keep flying bugs away, either candles or small oil burners. Not sure about the US but here I can get a citronella and permethrin oil for my small burner, works great for spaces and even round the campfire 👍 you would need to store it away from the pups of course because it should never be ingested. Really looking forward to your back country vids with your new lens Linnea!!

Linnea, I use ZONK IT! 35, controls Fleas, Ticks, for 35 days. Get it at the farm store here in Kansas. Can use on horses too, waterbase formula w/lanolin & aloe. Ingredients permethrin 50% and other ingredients 99.5%
Nutritional yeast, it's a natural flea, tic & mosquito deterrent. It's not 100% for all dogs/ cats but it is for others. It's also a whole protein. It's used to make vegan cheese and has a "meaty" flavor that pets love. 🙂 *Make sure your pet doesn't have a yeast allergy.
I don't know about doggy bug repellant but don't forget your heartworm preventatives ❤
Currently in Maine and the bags are brutal. We have a bunch of Thermacells that work well with mosquitos.
Peppermint essential oil mixed with rosemary essential oil and water is my natural bug repellent!!!!! Works well for me

You can use permethrin on dogs.
Use a zaper called the exterminator it works fantastic.
I use Wondercide to spray on my dog for bugs in general but for all of you I would love to learn any anti mosquito suggestions lol

What about of mosquito head nets for all 4 of you? I’ve seen other TH-cam folks up in Alaska at the Arctic use them on themselves and their dog.
