It is really cool to have a mini map from the real world. I knew that in Giants editor it is possible to take in a real life picture, and put on the ground and just paint on it and when you move the picture you know where the roads go and the field, everything you painted, like I have done on the map I'm creating. I think this map will be on my top 10 list since all the other Oxygendavid maps are so good:) I think we will see more and more maps based only on real life areas.

This looks like the perfect map, already planning my farm on it! Hope it's seasons ready on release. Loved the small details with the other then just normal cars on the roads, and that when you where close to the church you could hear the music from it. Just looks really, really great!
This map looks amazing. I am super excited to play on it. I am starting to love the Europe style farms. They offer so much more diversity and require me to think how you will tackle each field. It makes me actually enjoy working the field over the typical square fields you find in a lot of the default or american style maps.

hossblake I agree. I have a Colborough and West Coast maps that I am playing. They both have a lot of similarities, but enough differences to make them both distinct and challenging.

oxygendavid, if u r reading this then i was wondering if u have added for example a stagecoach dennis trident on the 51 because i saw the tractor at 17:50 and thought "if a tractor is a road AI then a bus doesn't seem too hard to add"

By far the most realistic map I've even seen. I think Giant should take a very good look at this map! Compared to this map, Estancia Lapacho looks a bit amateuristic wouldn't you say?
giants has to develop a map that will work well on even the minimum computer specs, and console....quite a balancing act, between eye candy and performance...
well considering all the man hours they wasted re-creating Barbie's Playhouse on Estancia Lapacho which offers absolutely ZERO to gameplay... I'm going to say they haven't figured out that balance yet
Wow that’s very weird seeing this on a game, I’ve actually bailed straw on field 43 & 44 and more down the road from that not on this map. Very realistic all the roads and signs and places are as they are in real life, the burger van opposite Severn springs is also normally there in real life! 👍
Daggerwin when you do your let's play I did notice gates for fields that are not numbered. Meaning you get some free grass for hay, or in the case with the fields in the lower right hand corner of the map maybe free arable land. Either way I believe those are worth a look.
You should look up Seven Springs on Google Maps or Google Earth sometime. ;-) It is stunning how accurate this map is, and that's coming from the other side of the pond. lol I'm looking forward to this map immensely. With Coldborough Park Farm, The West Coast, and soon Oakfield Farm, I don't think FS17 will ever get old. lol
This is based off of Coberley in Gloucestershire! I live about 10 minutes from here and if you look it up on Google maps it really is identical to the mini-map!

I love #OxygenDavid map building skills and have only gotten better. Can't wait for this. I've been on ATS since CyberMonday when it was on sale for $6.78 USD. Think this will make me revisit FS17. I do wish he made the roads a tad wider though. Makes taking larger equipment down a little tougher
Hay Daggerwin, you mentioned using seasons on Oakfield Farm, I don't think that would be the best of ideas. Seasons works well of smaller farms but I think it would restricted you to much on a map of this size.
With regard to PS4 problems on Map releases i understand that people had trouble downloading BulletBill's West Coast map. This is the biggest map I have installed at nearly 600mb but have had no problems, but i was a month later that everyone else i guess. So as long as Oakfield Farm isnt as big it should be ok? yes?
R34 I love this map too much I checked into the area and actually the farm we are presented with is just empty land next to the church. The true OakField Farm is north of the map. It’s spread out over many acres and is worth around £900,000! Check Zoopla and Google Maps. Aside from the Farm (which was definitely added to make the game more playable) the rest is 100% accurate. Even the second Farm at the top (I forget the name) which looks all rundown,near the segregated field you own, is 100% spot on the mark. I think I’ve researched into this waaayy too much lol😂
