Its aim was to facilitate the mass emigration of Jews from Russia and other Eastern European countries, by settling them in agricultural colonies on lands purchased by the committee in North America (Canada and the United States), South America (Argentina and Brazil) and Ottoman Palestine. @@erlorielislam and arabs didn’t genocide generally, in fact it would be hard to find examples of such. Besides Islams expansion is mainly peaceful. Yes it was spread by the sword at certain points but that is just how the age of empires worked. You cannot call Islamic lands Colonies because regularly they were annexed which is not the same. Colonies aren’t annexed they are used as resources for colonists. Also when it comes to Palestine specifically All the Christians in the area were let and the jews who by the way were kicked out by the Christians were allowed back. The fact that you compare a medieval empire with a colonial state which continues to treat its jews and nonjews differently, continues to abhor the rights of Palestinians. The reason Palestinians don’t agree to solutions isn’t because they hate jews, there were jews living in Palestine before Israel. The real reason is that Israel continues to push for unacceptable conditions such as no right to bear arms no right to return. Moreover, The Israeli government still illegally settles, still abuses the populace. Etc. from and outside perspective i can totally understand why people would hate the Israeli government. Especially when its roots are actually terrorist roots.

When you learn about the actions of the Grand Mufti that you cannot blame the Jews for their response. Please note that the majority of attacks were Arabs on Jews till the mid 1930s and then the Jews finally kicked it into gear. We always hear about Dier Yassan but never hear about Hebron, 1929 or Jerusalem, 1921.

Imagine fighting against an occupation of your land and people almost a century later are trying to justify an actual genocide?
When you lock people in a concentration camp, count their calories, every few years you "mow the lawn" (actual words being used by the class knesset members) by leveling a few neighborhoods and killing thousands, not let them repair their acquifer so 95% of their water is unsafe for consumption, banning things from entering such as chocolate, potato chips and baby chicks, not allowing them any type of economic ties with the world...and so much more...you should expect them to fight back.
The young men who broke through the fence on October 7th were born into this brutal blockade (which amounts to a crime against humanity per human rights watch and amnesty international), they had no past, no present, and no hope for any future. Do you really expect them to simply languish and die in their cage? Would you not fight back any way you can?
Israel is a brutal apartheid state committing the greatest crime of the 21st century. And after this, they will be a pariah state. And your american friends have become politcalaly radioactive on the world stage. Also, when you set out to exterminate an entire group of people, expect them to fight to their last breath. Israel cannot win, and they will be vilified and humiliated in the end. "Give me liberty or give me death"....unless you are arab then you are a terrorist apparently.
After over 10,000 children killed, thousands more still under the rubble, 1.7 million homeless, oh and the IPC has officially classified the Gaza as being a in a true famine, which is over 20% of people at extreme risk of starving to death and/or already dead. I live in Israel and I would just like to add my own quick summary of the history here.
The Ottoman Empire was one of the Central Powers on the losing side of World War One. The League of Nations divided the Empire into sections (for example Iraq, Syria, etc) with borders which had never before existed. These sections were placed under the rule of Britain or France until they would become independent states. One section was called Palestine. Britain was given a mandate to make it into a Jewish state. I would speculate that the British government saw a Jewish state in Palestine as being a reliable ally to help Britain defend the crucial Suez Canal. (This actually happened eventually in the 1956 Suez Crisis.) The map of Palestine was drawn carefully to include the port of Eilat in the south and Haifa in the north, giving Palestine access to both ends of the canal.
About 80% of Palestine came under Jewish control in 1948 and the remainder in 1967.
However the Muslim population of Palestine grew, and continues to grow, much more quickly than anyone in 1918 expected thanks to better diet, cleaner water and vaccinations. Additionally most Muslims have been vehemently against the idea of giving Palestine to the Jews. The result is a Jewish state but with a large and growing hostile Muslim population disenfranchised and living in Bantustans.
Regarding Muslim refugees who fled Palestine in 1948, every war creates refugees. Loyalist refugees fleeing the United States following the American Revolution founded Ontario while the property which they left was confiscated by the US government. No one seems to be very worried about the American loyalists' right of return.
It should be mentioned that Muslims do not recognize the concepts of human rights and international law but they hypocritically criticize Jews for violating human rights and international law.

@@brinag8604 No, Canadians cannot return to the US and become citizens and they certainly cannot reclaim their ancestors' property, which is now some of the most expensive real estate in the world in Manhattan. And neither can the grandchildren of refugees anywhere else in the world. At the end of World War II there were millions of refugees, Germans who were living outside the new borders of Germany, Jews who were not able to return to their previous homes in central Europe and others. Where are their descendants today? Does anyone know or care? The Palestinian "refugee" concept is a scam created by Muslims in the hopes of using it to foment hatred toward Israel among Western liberals.
Have you checked the humans rights records of Saudi Arabia, Iran or any other Muslim majority country? How do you feel about beating women to death because their hair isn't covered, executing blasphemers and homosexuals? Muslims out and proudly reject the entire concept of human rights. You have no rights. You have the privilege of obeying whatever Muhammed allegedly said 1400 years ago.
About international law. For 1300 years Muslims were imperialists, slavers and colonizers. No Muslim leader has ever apologized for all that. They are proud of it and would do it again given the opportunity. However now that the shoe is on the other foot, Muslims beg Western liberals for help and sympathy.

I started to learn Middle East history from decent Chinese history professors 20 years ago. The historical facts they cited/quoted are pretty much in line with yours, and the narratives were pretty neutral and mainstream English history teaching. It’s interesting that these historical narratives are contradictory to current Chinese government propaganda (CCP) position or the old textbooks during the Cultural Revolution in Mao’s era which was similar to the modern day western leftist narratives. The history we tell, the people we become.

      Jesuit Directive 24:
Blame the Victim of that which you are doing yourself
Islamic terrorism is a CIA Saudi/Scionist creation to justify genocide
Blaming Hamas is just an excuse to murder children and steal their land, no different to 2001, Iraq WMDs, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen, all in the name of a democracy they dont believe in.
Tens of millions killed in a worldwide genocide of Muslims by Rome and Chazars, all based on LIES
Bombing hospitals, schools, using white phosphorus, and cluster bombs, filling in wells, burning olive orchards stealing cattle. Targeting pregnant women and kids is terrorism! Kidnapping kids in the middle of the night, strapping them to vehicles as human shields is terrorism. Rape, abuse, medical experiments, poisoning, and assault is terrorism, stealing their homes is terrorism. Sterilising Ethiopians, radiating Shepardics and using Yemenis for organ harvest all examples of your Terrorist heritage
Irgun Stern, King David Hotel, USS Liberty, the 67 war, Bali, Fukushima, Burma, Bosnia, 2001, Mexico, Vegas, Boston, on and on, all proof of your Terrorism.
Cast Lead, Vigilante Guardian, Lavon Affair, Oded Yinon, Tantura, Nakba, all prove who the terrorist are
You have terrorised Palestinians for nearly a century, engaged in outright brutality, pulling kids limb from limb after raping them, forcing petrol down the throats of kids before burning them alive then laughing at their suffering, taking joy in depriving them of water and food and medicine; all acts of terrorism. Spitting on them, burning down churches and defacing Palestinian graves.
And not just Palestine but Bosnia, Fauklands, Myanmar, Rwanda, Guatemala, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, Honduras, Mexico, Kenya, Egypt, Sth Africa, France, Germany, UK, Boko Haram, Isis, Taliban, Hamas: you supply arms to terrorist groups, promote genocides and persecute Muslims using your Jesuit media and Mossad Death Squads
You use the word Terrorist as a substitute for Migger, no different to how Nazis used the word Jude
      Every accusation is a confession:
Look in the mirror lest the irony kill you. The accuser claims he cannot be wrong, so then what is the difference between "God's Chosen" who cannot be criticised or held accountable and "Master Race" engaged in slaughter and fascism.
      The world will not forget!
Eternity is a long time to be branded evil, and your evil vile comments and your campaign of strawmen and disinformation and hate prove you never wanted Peace, never saw Semitic Palestinians as humans, never recognised their right to their own state, it was all lies from the start. You cry self defence, but what you really mean is a right to rape murder and steal.
You claim Satan's Hell has a right to defend itself while stealing land, imprisoning women and children and murdering kids, it's the definition of a call to genocide. You claim Palestinians want to wipe you off the map, as you wiped them off the map
      All accusation in a mirror
Bombing refugee camps and crying "Hamas"
So it's all just Accusation in a Mirror aka Gaslighting aka Grooming, a Hatespeech incitement technique used in Genocide, and the Jesuit media, cults, and the sexual abuse of children, which Republicans are always getting caught doing
Remember the law of the Prophets: Treat others as you would have the treat you
The world will not forget your lies
And soon they will see it was ALL lies
      Then where will you go?
How will you be treated, who will mourn your dead
If you see us as animals how should we see you? Who will listen to your excuses when everything you spew is lies and Gaslighting?
      Who will care for you?
Rules for thee but not for ye?
Is it any wonder you're despised around the world, no one will trust you, no one will speak to you, no one will do business with you, your descendants will carry your cross for 1000 years, everything you stole and hoarded will be taken from you
And they will say, these people can only lie, it is their curse, do not give them shelter, lest they mirder you in your sleep and steal your house
Everything you say now will be used whenever you speak, your own rhetoric will be spoken to you, and will be used to judge you
They will say, "these people are cowards, even unarmed children can defeat their armies"
      Woe Great Babylon!
Come out of her my people
so that she may be judged!

As an American Gentile observer and (admittedly casual) scholar of the situation in the Middle East since my college days in the 1960s, I believe this lecture to be relatively well balanced and objective. That's not easy to do when the subject matter is so hotly controversial and passions are running as high as they are today. I must say that I was disappointed at times when our lecturer failed to accurately read the important quotations verbatim, sometimes distorting their meaning. But overall this was very informative in its detailed granularity of events that occurred in the first half of the 20th Century in Palestine as well as diplomatically in the centers of power in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

Yeah, without talking about the Ottoman land reforms of the 1850’s as well as the fact that the concept of land ownership was foreign to nearly every Arab (of course excluding the wealthy ones), you can’t understand why Arabs started getting angry at the European Jews who started moving into the countryside in 1882 (the vast majority of Jewish immigration prior to was to an urban environment (aka Jerusalem)). Prior to 1882, there wasn’t much tension between Jews and Muslims (especially compared to their relationship with the Christians). By skipping straight to 1919, you give the impression that there had always been tensions between the religious communities and the Muslims have always been antisemitic like Christians have, which is simply not true.

Any historian will love this. And everyone who suddenly has a very strong opinion on a conflict they don't understand in the slightest may begin to realize that any black and white portrayal of history is simply wrong, and that the loudest voices are often the least informed.

I didn’t have to watch very much of this to realise it’s just pro-Israeli propaganda. So I’m certainly not going to waste three hours of my life on the rest of it. It seems to be largely based on the writings of Ephraim Karsh. His “Palestine betrayed”, which you quote repeatedly, is a work of propaganda not a serious history book. (I have written a review of it on Amazon.)
Like Karsh, you gloss over the fact that the Zionists were not coming to Palestine in order to integrate peacefully into the local society, but to destroy that society and replace it with another society, ethnically Jewish and based on European culture. They were willing to tolerate Arabs perhaps, but only as a minority in a Jewish state. Some Zionists were quite willing to contemplate ethnic cleansing.

      > They were willing to tolerate Arabs perhaps, but only as a minority in a Jewish state.
Oh? Sort of like how the Arabs wanted to force Jews to exist as a minority in an Arab state? If being a minority is so bad, surely that's all the more of a reason Jews should be allowed to create a majority at least somewhere.
      > Some Zionists were quite willing to contemplate ethnic cleansing.
As opposed to… the Arabs? Who actively tried to force out all the Jews prior to anything that can be considered an act of ethnic cleansing by the Jews?

Three facts about Palestine you never know:
    1. There has NEVER been an independent state of Palestine, nor an Arab state of Palestine.
    2. The name "Palestine" comes from the Romans who renamed "Judea and Samaria" Syria Palestine to punish the Jews for their revolt against the Romans ... before Islam even existed.
    3. Palestine Arabs today are not indigenous. They are "ethnic Arabs," and the vast majority of them come to the land with the Islamic conquerors in 634 CE.

@@daiyumyoif you were to start farther back you would have to get into Arab migration into the land during the Ottoman Empire, showing that a majority of the Palestinians migrated to Palestine during that era.
And there is no genetic study that can show “who is native” because you have nothing to compare it to. What these studies do is compare the genetics of one region to another, so the genetic studies you are referring to simply show that Palestinian Arabs share more genetic material with Egyptians/syrians/Jordanians then some Jews. You cant tie that genetic makeup to a particular area of the land.
