I have seen all 4 episodes & I have to say this...it's one of the very real & unique interviews I have seen...very realistic way of seeing things in life & cinema...lot of people have experienced & gone through this, but to express it with such precision & in a very short & sweet way is so rare...I think Ravi Varman has experienced so many battles in his life & he has conquered it every time with ease...this is why he could see & approach life & cinema in a such a positive way...these 4 part interview is a must for all new film makers or any youngsters in any challenging field....lot of people give their own success stories in interview but Ravi Varman has given lot of philosophical truths here....Bravo

he is a very nice director but always obsessed with white dress dances actually he could have reached the magnificent height but some mysterious curses
ruinedhim he could not bring his son to limelight another failure
I guess Mr. Maniratanam will not execute the historical movie ponnieyn selvan. This movie will drop and he will start other usual projects like love & relationship oriented movies.
event if he try take ponnieyn selvan.. He will insist own thoughts and hide many real identities of tamil culture.
I believe Mr. Maniratanam is not a capable person of directing historical movie. He almost out of mind.

Ponnieyin selvam is not like other historical story.. it's have many charecters and travelling type story.. more then direction it's need dedication and huge CG work need to done
So Mr. Maniratanam is not in that list

@@elankamal1 If Selvaraghavan makes Ponniyin Selvan then it will be a psycho historical movie not fiction historical movie. All the characters will kill each other in the end and the Chola citizens will kill each other. Lokesh has barely made 3 small movies, I don't know what makes you think he can handle a complex story and making process with so many characters and departments . Shankar is nothing without his writer Sujatha. Mani Ratnam has been wanting to make this since late 80s. This story is safest in his hands. We can expect a very aesthetic and emotional drama that has mass and commercial appeal. I respect how polite you were with your comment. I'm only saying my humble disagreement. Both of us are PS fans. Let's wait for the movie.
