My Z is stock and it can do that. Most Z's come around 300 out the factory. From what I see and hear he doesn't have any major engine upgrades that produce a lot of power. And all you gotta do is turn off traction control, put it in 1st with the clutch down, rev to about 5k and step off the clutch. Because these cars are torquey you can also just roll at 5mph in 1st and suddenly push the gas with tcs off to rocket off the line.
Just because you have a z doesnt mean you know a lot about them. Youd have to tune to turn traction control completely off but thatd be stupid. Zs have VDC/ You can turn VDC off. VDC cuts power to the wheels if it notices theres wheel spin. Be careful when you turn it off
It's definitely the exhaust, a friend of mine had a single exhaust and it didn't sound anything like a 350Z. It sounds cool but I like the signature sound of the 350Z. That's why I got the Nismo exhaust, it's a little louder and deeper but still has that growl that I love and it sounds exotic.
ive never messed with my traction control and still scare the shit out of my friends lol will have to try... i do have a z so i know a lot about them, his just sounds different, might be the single exhaust though because ive never heard one in person, or an echo?
Either Volk TE37's, or Varrstoen/Rota replicas. TE37's are usually around $3k+. Varrstoen and Rota replicas are usually around $1k, maybe less. Look exactly the same, but no Volk/Rays engraving or Volk centercaps.
