How much installed?
Genorator was 6500. After laying gas line and electic wiring i was in total about 9000 dollars total.@@kurtfischback8453
Cummins has a good reputation. They are usually used in commercial applications. What was ballpark cost?
Paid 6500. Then to get hook up electric and gass about another 2000. So I was 8500 in but it's kicked on twice already during storms. Love it.@@brentjohnson6654

Generac appears to be killing the whole home standby market.
Generac has owned that market for years even though many believe Kholer is a better generator (I believe it is, but I own a Generac!). To me its apples and oranges, both brands are excellent and you wouldn't go wrong buying either. Saying one is better than the other is not the same as saying one is trash.
@@kenherrera2819 I put in a 26kw Generac a few months ago. It seems to be well thought out. I wish they would take the time and money to make them quiet. Otherwise it seems fine.
