Hi. I have one of these, and have had it since new. Mine came in kit form. It originally did not have any brakes, and the body shell was held into place by wire clips, and not screws as stated in the video. Mine is painted in GULF porsche colours. I suspect it would still run if I replaced the radio, which has been borrowed at some time for another model. It has a hand built exhaust system, as none supplied with the model.
@jeff simon thank you for posting this video! I recentaly inherited a dynamic models rc kit from my grandfather and thanks to you i know a little about it! If you or anyone else is interested i will be putting it up for auction this week on ebay.
Hahahahahaha. Wow you're conclusions are horrible. They were going to THROW THIS IN THE TRASH. If it were not for my uncle thinking of me, this would be in a landfill somewhere. It would have sat in my garage if I kept it. I put it on ebay and it sold within 24 hours on my BUY IT NOW price. My starting bid? $500. There was no bidding war and when it was all over, I gave $1000 of my auction to friend in need, but go ahead and pass your judgements on me based on an eight minute video.
Oh and yes, you saved an important part of rc history. Price is subjective, why pay 30million for an old beatup Ferrari? Why, because of its history, and beauty.
Just a idea you can make a plaster mold of those old body's and vacuum form new one and then your able to keep the original body and run the new body instead
Do you have any links to information on this car? i have a kit that i got from my grandfather a long time ago. it was never assembled and i would like to assemble it..it is a dynamic i believe as it looks nearly identical to this car and i have an older friend that has been into RC since the 60s that told me it may be a dynamic.. however the box has no markings or instructions.
Oh wow, my Holy Grale !!!! , i had the 1970 Jps , but i have lost it at Fire in my home, all destroyed.. ... Search vor One!!! & Evo von Kyo and an 1980 Seelen 998 !
Mike Yurchison most rc historians claim rc cars didnt really take off till the late 70s. My dad always said slotcars were what the poor kids raced and rc cars were around in the mid 60s, and linear track rc dates back to the beginning of the century. Slot cars were replaced by rc kits when they became affordable.
i have one of these!.never drove it.however car is next to perfect. needs motor and body.rims are like mirrors plus new rubber. car was drove one time at some point if its life. what do you guys think this thing is worth$$ ?? just curious. thanks
I have one like this, th-cam.com/video/bUmr4K4-23s/w-d-xo.html but it's never been used or even assembled. It's in the original box with paperwork. But has a Datsun 240z body (still clear never painted).

8 Cylinder?? You mean 1/8 Scale?
I believe he's reffering to the mock up of 8 velocity stacks on top ,which would go to a 8 cylinder engine.
Tommee is correct. I was referring to the velocity stacks.
