Why would you leave your own home or sale it or even tahr it down this makes no sense
The husband shouldn't be promising things he can't deliver.
The MIL is widowed so she should be alone to deal with her grief.

MIL move in and I will move out.
Since the MIL lives in an apartment, she has neighbors to keep her company, unless the MIL is a miserable old bat, and now an entitled SIL.

Seems a lot of these stories confuse US law with Asian culture norms,
I was enjoying the story until I heard that God-awful overused word, " PALPABLE " being spoken. Plus, who laughs after every sentence? 🙄👎
