Not to back seat game, but you CAN set the resource deposits to be infinite in the custom difficulty settings. I always do this, because I hate having to go back an rebuild bases.

I've played the Demo, and I've always been on the fence in regard to the game. Loving seeing you play it, your playstyle always inspires me to try out games. Looks like I'm picking it up next overtime check lol

I'm part way through standard campaign. This has come at the best time!
This hour just flew by!
Love Riftbreaker, such a great game. The gameplay loop is very good, and doesnt get tiring unlike alot of other games. Always something to do in this one, wether its researching your next tech, crafting a new weapon or upgrade, exploring, building your base, or slaughtering your way through thousands of aliens across all the verious biomes.
When power is going down/red, it doesn't mean there is no power. It is still producing power, depends on the power source, and it will prioritize defensive structure. Correct me if I am wrong.
Gives me a HD immersive version of Herzog Zwei vibe from back in the Sega Genesis days. Love that game then.

Shame you didn't continue the playthrough. This game is critically underrated, with only negative reviews on Steam relating to lack of multiplayer, that was promised (allegedly). Great game

Fun fact: you won't be attacked by any waves until you put your HQ down, I've used this to scout the whole map.
fyi: scouting the map before you place the hq is great but risky as you run into group of enemies. Your weapons (ammo) and abilities (ie instant repair) won't recover. and dying equals game over without the hq.

I love riftbreaker! I have the game, it is genius. I would like to have this continued and it would be a bit refreshing the current content, because all the time now always Anno and Satisfactory is boring now (I don't have problems with just something new is good).
Yeah I hear that, I plan on starting up some new series generally soon. I'm also just waiting for a few games I have my eye on to release like Manor Lords, Falling Frontier, maybe even Starfield and such!

To those who find this video and enjoy the game. This game will run on anything. I play on a $300 laptop with 4gb of ram and an AMD 5 core. I highly recommend the game even if you think your pc can’t run the game, it probably can.

What sucks is a release the DLC and the update for PC and then a couple weeks later, it released on Xbox, but the PS five still has not gone either even though it was the original system that launched on

This game reminds me of a phone game I played called ReFactory. It's pretty cool. The rss not being infinite bugs me a little but it's a solid game.
Defently a nice game, would be interesfed to see more of your gameplay on this one

The Ironium name for plain old iron is funny. It makes it sound like the game has an ironic undertone.
Same with Carbonium… never got why not just call it iron and carbon 🤷♂️ maybe it is some sort of joke

I loved this game, but i made the mistake of playing it on xbox originally. Saw it was on gamepass and decided why not.
This game NEEDS a mouse, controller for building is nightmare inducing and also i dont think it was optimized very well. Granted, only had a Series S not an X, but the Series S is not a weak machine and it chuuuuuugged and eventually hard locked up on me lol
Near the end of the video, his lack of power was driving me nuts.
The last time I played this plants produced enough resources that you didn't need anything else. I know they nerfed that at some point so I might have to rethink my strategy for the DLC.
The game is nice but I have a hard time with it, I don't know what to research, what is good, what not, what weapons are good and so on.
The best part for me about this game is how smooth moves and keeps the 144 frames even in huge fights.
Game looks great. Will probebly try it out.

Is there any reason to not just deploy miners are the other carbon & iron veins? Feels like you'd have to wait less if you just dropped them on those.
Power consumption generally. Just starting out you gotta balance between more mines and more power. Eventually, in the next episode even, I'll just make a field of batteries and solar and wind and then be fine for power on this map for a long time.
It's not available for ps5 or xbox series x is it coming out for either of those systems I thought it released today what happened

No way dude, I played this game for 10 hours now and I just always assumed that you can only place 1 miner per deposit....... I covered almost the whole map with 1 miner on each deposit.....
mind. blown.

I noticed that when the game was getting noisy particularly building, mining and fighting it could be difficult to hear what you're saying as in my opinion the game get just a tad too loud in comparison to your voice
I actually had a lot of trouble audio balancing this because the game goes loud and quiet during dialogue so I’ll keep that in mind for the next one

wrong thing #1. didn't choose brutal or an even harder version of custom.
i really wanta see someone survive custom with like amount of spawns and time between attack waves set to nothing lol. in the long run once your established it would be fine and a lot of fun, but early game... how would you survive that?
this game is what future terrorism looks
The game isn't supported on Linux so I won't be buying it.
