There are no future plans, nor are they creating shadow players. Even though Pathum and Kusal Mendis are the best in T20 for Sri Lanka, we need to find players for their positions and give them opportunities to play matches, at least one match per series. There are no such plans. A selection committee like this can never lift Sri Lanka cricket back to its former glory.
Our batters cant clear 70m boundaries consistently. We are just kidding ourselves by winning on spin friendly similar type of tracks. Bottom line is we are not on good pitches. So should we ask the hosting cricket boards to prepare friendly tracks for us to adjust the mindset?
