Finally! A recording that reminds me what this sounded like to me. This is one of the better, more balanced recordings of this piece. This church, it's music director, the tech director, and all of the musicians did a wonderful job. I've taken a new position in a new city and ramping up an orchestra / choir, but I hope to resurrect this piece in a couple years.

The choir I am in sang this last year.I can not describe the elation and joy that filled my heart.Such a gorgeous piece!!

I played oboe on this yesterday. The solo during the ritard at the end was of course my favorite part! Everyone really liked the piece.
