No, she does NOT sound like she did 40+ years ago. She has a smokey, husky voice and cannot hold notes. Her voice it least 1 octave lower.

She is an impressive talent....no one sounds like her. I am so enjoying that she is sharing her stories!! The fact that she will be 76 in May and still singing for us all shows her love and professionalism for her music. I really liked her in the seventies when I was younger, but now not so much. She is talented though, but being once a singer myself, I never cared for her singing, but liked her writing.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a tremendous "thank you " to you for posting this. You can't possibly know what this means to me. I've seen Stevie Nicks so many times over the past several decades and will always love her so much. She will be doing a show near me at the end of May.. the day after my birthday and I honestly can't believe that I am seriously debating whether to go or not. Anyway, regardless of my ultimate decision, I just want to let you know how much this means to me. I've had a very tough time these past few years and I've found it difficult to allow myself to be happy and have a good time...but watching this concert is helping me to get back to being able to take a little more time and re learn how to enjoy.

I was there. Took my friends 15 yo daughter, that absolutely adores Stevie Nicks. The whole concert... I was either covered in goosebumps, smiling, and even a tear during Landslide. We were 3rd row center. Absolutely amazing. Even the crowd was amazing. Sheer heaven
Were there any other bands supporting her? Opening acts?
@@AnAmericanGuitarist yes... Was some local woman. I forget her name. Sorry. But, it was just her on acoustic guitar, a dude with one snare drum with brushes and a another cat playing a stand up bass. She was "folksy".... Dylan-esque

Very moving final minutes and great to know and see Stevie gets some relief every time she goes on stage. Thanks a billion for posting this since it's very unlikely I will ever be able to see Stevie Nicks in concert and I regret, still to this day, having never seen Fleetwood Mac either. But I can grasp some of the joy, happiness and emotion the crowd is immersed in by watching this great gift. Thank you Jim Powers ! All the best from a die--hard Fleetwood Mac and Stevien Nicks fan in Santiago, Chile.

Nice gesture to play Tom's song at the beginning "Runnin' Down A Dream" As to the concert what can I say? Other than A simply magical and wonderful concert. Stevie, is sensational - wow! This is something else!
Thank you!! I think she sounds great❤❤ I've loved her since I was 14. I'm 61now. I've seen her only 2 times for Wild Heart and Rock a little. She encored with my favorite song Beauty and Beast. My soul mate died when I was 19. "There is no beauty without my beast."
Tried love after that 1 time. Luckily, I have my son. The only good thing to come of that. Stevie's demo version of "Planets of the Universe", is so angry. When she sings angrily "I wish you gone and I don't care!" It felt good to sing that with her. Goodbye Baby. For medical reasons my doctor had to terminate my pregnancy. That song made me okay again.
She knows how to let your heart release all the complicated emotions we go through in life. Thank you Stevie❤

I saw her in concert in OKC in September 1983. The height of her career imo and it was purely magical and memorable. I can't remember who else played that night tho.

What excellent performances. That band really rocks. I love the renditions of Gypsy, Bella Donna, and especially Stand Back. Waddy playing Edge of Seventeen is simply iconic, and then there is Stevie, the biggest icon of all. I grew up with a true love of Fleetwood Mac.

I was also born in 1948. It’s wonderful she can still bring it. I’m GUESSING but I think being able to get out and perform is very special for her. Special in a way that is unique to this time in her life. Maybe even better, but not a better she could have imagined because getting older is just not imaginable.
