Christine's passing is always going to be beyond tragic. Stevie and Christine complimented each other perfectly. Stevie the mystic ethereal good witch.. the darkness.. the visionary. Christine the romantic, the angelic voice, the iconic songwriter who doesn't get nearly enough credit. She made FM.
Amazing. I lived in Phoenix, in the 80's... Her father owned an Arena there... She would come and play... Good times. Here, in this video, Stevie is mere days from 76. She has lived her life, the way she chose, and she is still living... Kudos from Washington State...
Maybe she should tell us the story of how she had Lindsey kicked out of Fleetwood Mac and ruined their amazing Legacy with 2 mediocre players who STILL couldn't fill Lindsey's shoes. It's funny, she lies about that all the time now.
@@1970borntorun I hated that Lindsey was no longer in the band (just like I hated that he abandoned them in 1987 just as they were to set out for the Tango tour, when all I wanted was to see all 5 band members together) but it’s about time to let the whole drama go. Chris is gone, and Stevie and Lindsey always had an intensely complicated roller coaster dynamic that no one else will ever really understand. The band’s legacy is not ruined. The Rumours lineup will always be legendary.
YES!!!! A one-woman spoken word show, like Spaulding Gray used to do, or like Carrie Fisher's "Wishful Drinking." She's a great storyteller with many stories to tell.
Stevie & Dolly are my 2 faves! Both women are talented beyond word, just amazing! I could listen to Stevie Nicks tell her stories about life in Fleetwood Mac & beyond!
Absolute perfection from a perfect and beautiful woman! Stevie Nicks, thank you for all you gave to your fans who love and admire everything you have done for us! And thank God for blessing you with a voice of an Angel!
I have no fear I have only LOVE. YOU SEE YOUR GYPSY. So much BEAUTY and whimsical enchantment comes from her. A rare form of a lady performing for many other people and genres of all ages. Rock on Gold Dust woman! ✊💖💯💜🤩😎LOVE AND LIGHT ALWAYS✌️

I went to see Fleetwood Mac 3rd row center in L.A. back in the late 70s/early 80s don't remember the year but was so excited to go with my bf who worked for Atlantic Records and it didn't cost anything with the best seats!!!!
Thanks. I loved hearing the story especially Stevie & Lindsay's 1st impression as the other band drove up to the restaurant. I hadn't heard that before.
I equate Stevie Nick's songs with Fleetwood Mac: Landslide, Sara, Rhiannon, Silver Springs, Gypsy as classics similar to jazz greats. What a great songwriter and what an example of a band which made everyone better. I could listen to these songs over and over.
What a life lived...so interesting to hear how the band first met and formed. I am four years younger than Stevie , and although I was not a committed fan of Fleetwood Mac back then , I have always liked the music they produced..and always marvelled at both Stevie,s and Christine's vocal capabilities. Also really great to hear Stevie,s voice is still just as great as it ever was !! Lovely to see she, s still performing...thank you for the music!!!
You do realise that Fleetwood Mac existed years before the horrible lineup of Nicks , Buckingham joined right ? They were the greatest blues band in the world at one point with Peter Green !!!! You are definitely not a fan .
Hey, did you know Stevie had roots in CRIPPLE CREEK, COLORADO! Her aunt, Gertrude Dielh, and cousin Steve Mackin lived there. She was in the Imperial Hotel dancing with the dishwasher! Only 20 or 30 years ago! Love ya Stevie, forever ❤💃😍
Thanks. I'm taking some time off from making videos, listening to Stevie's music and relaxing. Taking blood pressure readings every few hours as ordered. I think the BP is better with Stevie's music playing. Thanks for the story, Stevie! Loved it. Happy Birthday (early).

I first went to a Fleetwood Mac concert at Detweiller Park in Peoria Il. Stevie had this pants suit that looked painted on. I was amazed at Lindsey's finger picking though. It was the start of their success, but I had listened to Peter Greene, and I didn't want to like Lindsey, but I couldn't help it. Of course I had to tell my girlfriend that I wasn't really attracted to Stevie. Yeah right. Hello from the past M'Lady, I wish you joy and happiness.
I went to go see Fleetwood Mac when I was 9 months pregnant with my 3rd son on Halloween night. What an amazing concert! Tons of people dressed like Stevie and Lyndsey. 😂😂 At the time I thought we were having a girl, and her name was going to be Sara ❤ but! It turned out to be a boy 😂😂😂❤❤❤ 3rd son and still hasn’t used the name Sara. Thought with my 4th we would use it then but turned out to be another boy. 😂😂😂 soooo…. Sara lives in my heart ❤ I loved listening to my moms album as a kid and bought the album for one of my boys who truly appreciates vinyl❤ my 3rd son 😂❤
I am a big fan of Stevie. She's written some of the most timeless songs. But 8 minutes of talk to introduce a song! That would drive me nuts! I've seen another video from this tour where there was 4/5 minutes chatter before a song. It would drive me crazy!
But EVERY song is a story. Her life is a story, a journey. Do you not see that? Especially with Fleetwood Mac-- they were a band before she made them legends. That being said, she still kind of "trashed" Lindsey here (only a tiny bit).
@@jartober I am a huge Fleetwood Mac/music fan. I don't know how old you are, but I first saw them in 1979. As much as I like her, you can't say 'she' made Fleetwood Mac legends. Her, Christine and Lindsey wrote the songs that made them a phenomenal band and their dynamic resulted in one of the greatest bands of all time. So, 'yes' I do see that (and your comment is somewhat patronising!). However, when I go to a concert I don't particularly want an introduction that lasts as long as the music. I'm there for the music, no matter who they are, I already know their life story.
@008nigel well then you shouldn't go. And YES stevie made FM huge. Christine will always be my favorite FM member but you cannot deny what Stevie added. If my comment is patronizing, check your sensitivity level. And btw, SN doesn't normally talk that long. As she's 76 now, she's really looking back and sharing that on stage.

I bought this on a 45 record back in 1982. Great song for cruising down the highway. And Stevie still sounds geat. Was and still is one of my favorites. For some reason I like her solo work better than with Fleetwood Mac.
She carried Lindsey the whole way. Paid his bills in the lean days, delivered most big hits with the band that he profited from. Without Stevie he wouldn’t have been anything at all. He’d have been broke and homeless.
She got tired of his abusive behavior. She owed him nothing, and to listen to him and his supporters whine about it after he quit multiple times, failed as a solo artist and then came crawling back for a payday is tiresome.
We had the greatest music in the world back then ❤
Still is.
The best front-woman EVER. She stands in a class all by herself.❤

Yeah! I took halcion sleeping pills in the 80’s. She explains “not the sleeping pill”.
