As Skirmisher use camouflage, fire and move, stay alive, waste enemy ammo, volley and attention. A skirmisher when a larger force is available is what they break off from to put down volleys from certain positions to hold that enemy attention with muzzle flash and smoke or other sign of enemy. Then the larger force can either be eye level with cover of a hill/wheat/grass tops or sticking further out.
Then again, when using Civil War tactics, you need to work together considering you only have one shot at a time. Nonetheless, I agree, this game makes me wanna get a PC

As a civil war buff, it is my duty to get this game. Looks amazing, sounds of the battle are spot on, the scenery is as beautiful as it is hellish, but most of all I appreciate the line formations and tactics of the era being an integral part of the game. I know this video is two years old but I've noticed tht they havent changed the iron sights on the sharps still. The sights are so bad when you want to aim far. Cause the middle section of the sight blocks practically everything when you ADS. Or maybe its just me lol 🤷♂️
