Tim and his wife Faith Hill have 3 girls of their own. They are a really close family. Tim traded alcohol for working out. He said after losing his Dad his drinking got out of control. It came to a choice of drinking or his family. He said he could never live without them. Strong man and strong family
My brother chose this song for the father/daughter dance when his daughter Sarah got married. We all had tears in our eyes. You don’t need a cowboy hat and cowboy boots to enjoy country music. You are already connecting with it. Nuf said.
I’m 64 years old and I lost my dad 17 years ago. I was a daddy’s girl. He was the best man I’ve ever known. He and my mom raised me to be independent. My dad would always tell me that I could be anything I wanted to be and hearing that from my dad made me believe it. It meant more to me coming from my dad than from my mom for some reason. I’m an eye doctor and became one when it wasn’t common for women to become doctors. I know you’re a good dad and love your daughters very much. I’m sure you’ll encourage them like my dad encouraged me. I still miss him everyday but I will see him again.
My daughter who is our youngest and I are real close, even though she lives in Colorado and I in Pennsylvania. She was by my side when we lost her mother to cancer. She turns 46 this week, but I vividly remember her birth. She is the one of my three children that has a severe case of wanderlust, she loves to travel and see what is out there. She has always had a very strong sense of self and is a great friend to her close girlfriends. May your girls grow into strong and confident women.
My sister and I were my dad’s little girls until the day he died. We were in our 50s when he passed, but he was our hero, our safety net and our strength until the end. Nothing more special than a dad’s love for his daughters.
You should watch the video where this father got Tim Mcgraw to come to his daughters reception and he sang it to the girl that got married and her reaction was priceless!!!!!!!!
Not a girl dad, but I do have a warning. You will go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow and they will be 18 and making plans for college. Enjoy every minute you can with them. My son (18 high school senior) remembers some of the small things we did more than what I thought were the big things. Enjoy the small things and make them count!
Love your little girls, soon they will be out the door. Then they will face that world out there .Give them love faith and strength, it is your job. Be there there for them always. I can tell you are a good man, a good daddy and hopefully a good husband. Remember to tell them you love them everyday. Never go to bed angry or fighting.
Sebs, life goes by faster than you realize.Always love the girls so much that if they were staring at a jutebox and had to choose between I loved her 1st and cats in the cradle they would choose the 1st one.Congrats on the 100k.
This song has such a powerful message. Thanks for doing this one. My favorite songs from the great Tim McGraw are When She Wakes Up, One of These Days, Just To See You Smile, Don't Take the Girl, Can’t Be Really Gone, I Do But I Don’t, Angry All the Time, Grown Men Don’t Cry, Back When, My Little Girl, Everywhere, You Had To Be There, and If You’re Reading This.
Listening to Tim McGraw is always good. But, you said Girl Crush right in the beginning, and that song kept resonating in my head. That is a great song from Little Big Town.
As a dad, you have to listen to Hurry Home by Jason Micheal Carroll. It is a great song that might make you cry, but is a great example of a dad's unconditional love.
It is almost a mother, daughter song. But you have to watch Martina McBride In My Daughter’s Eyes! I had them play that at my daughters wedding, and I invited all the mothers and daughters to come up and dance! And I danced with my daughter at her wedding! But the words translate, no matter, mother, daughter, or father daughter!
This is the song I always associate with my youngest daughter who is the most free spirit no nonsense taking wonderfully beautiful now woman I’ve ever known
I’m a daughter, but I haven’t talked to my dad for over 15 years….since I was 15 years old. Not gonna lie, this made me cry. I loved Tim McGraw growing up, as he was my moms very favorite country artist. I miss my dad, too.
Great Song. Great Movie. Great Reaction. You should definitely check out The Little Girl by JMM. Also, this song is from the movie Flicka. Bring the tissues!!
My son will be 40 this year and having marital problems that’s he’s trying to work out. I still see him as that two year old toddler that I want to fix everything for him.
Sebs I lost my dad 4 months ago and I always told him he was my sunshine and he say no you’re mine. I miss him everyday but I know he’s not in pain anymore
Have you seen the video where the little girl told her daddy " I took him down", and why she did it. Hilarious. I really like your reactions. God bless you and yours.

Any parent gets impatient more than they would like. Parents are human, and the angelic little rugrats can walk all over our last nerve sometimes. When they're grown, you start walking all over theirs. That's karma. 😂

My daughter is 20. She has a baby boy of her own now. This song kills me. I miss my baby girl, but I literally could not be more proud of her.

Any parent gets impatient more than they would like. Parents are human, and the angelic little rugrats can walk all over our last nerve sometimes. When they're grown, you start walking all over theirs. That's karma. 😂

Nothing except now you finally got your wish. And I am sure you are the only person making requests. 😎
