It's been more than 7 years since I started making music and posting on Whitesand. For those who don't know I studied and finished architecture bachelors degree right before I started and trying my luck on TH-cam. At that point in 2016 I had not much musical experience or understanding how to make music and when I started my idea actually at the start was to make guitar jams/improvisations. I wanted to become a great guitar player and thought to make content around it. My biggest inspiration at that moment was John Frusciante from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I loved how simplistic his melodies and harmonies were, but at the same time they felt emotional and purposefull, honest. When I started experimenting with music software I came to learn how to layer sounds and use digital instruments like piano, drums and others. I started experimenting with those and first instrumental track came around.(even now you can go back and listen to some of the first tracks and see the quality comparison) In the span of few months I spend all my time literally watching youtube tutorials, reading articles online, experimenting and trying to write music. At that time I was listening myself a lot of instrumental stuff from Two Steps From Hell, Hans Zimmer and some other I was really hooked on it and thought it would be really cool to make something similar myself. Even though I wanted to be a good guitar player at that time and maybe to sing, write songs in the future, I also wanted to explore this area/style of music. Also, when I started doing it I felt like songs where coming around naturally for me when I was just trying to write something with emotion and intention. As months come by I continued to work on it and it became easier and easier to express myself and the views, subs slowly increased which really gave me motivation to keep going. I've stuck with this style of music for a long time, trying to improve, write better, more honest music and I think I am quite happy with the number of tracks and progress I have made in these 7 years. I started to make a living from music in the process which allowed me to feel more confident and expressive as a musician. Making music requires quite a lot of money and this was a big factor in my development too, cause money you earn can be invested back in the equipment, knowledge and so on. Around 3 years passed with my Whitesand journey and I became more aware of what I wanna do - just to write good music. Guitar, singing and songwriting was always in my mind, but I kept postponing it in some way and kept writing instrumental music. I simply liked doing it. Also more opportunities presented itself, I started working with other people, writing stuff for them personally and growing whitesand too. At that point in time I decided to try going for a singing lessons in my hometown where I live now (In Vilnius, Lithuania). I became aware that singing is not as easy as I thought haha and I needed to work a lot to get better at it, but I liked doing it a lot. And it took quite a long time to develop as a singer. Basically starting from no experience to be able to sing in front of people confidently took about 4-5 years, with a lot of ups and downs and hard work. In those years between when I started taking singing lessons and now, around 5 years passed, and I developed so much as a person and a creator. I matured as a person too, some of my views and beliefs changed. I've gained confidence and determination to try writing songs and singing myself. Because before I didn't feel ready. Around 1,5 years ago I gave singing songs a try and written a song called Nightmare. It felt like it was a song I was determined to release some day. And a year later I did, with a music video clip. In these 6 months I came to terms that I want to separate my singing and cinematic journey and separate my accounts. Whitesand being for cinematic music and Marside (my new channel). Its a new channel with 50 subs and few hundred views on new songs. So I start from the scratch haha. Its kinda scary and excited to start all over again. The fires of war burn brightly. Smoke clouds the sky. You hear sirens and screaming. Sounds of pain and sorrow. But through it all, you hear a piano. A piano playing a song of hope and peace. And finally, light breaks through the clouds.
Why this music is not featured in major movies is beyond me. It touches my heart and my spirit is uplifted with hope for a brighter future. Thanks so much for inspiration. Definitely on my listen play list.

3 weeks ago, my mom passed away from breast cancer. We didn't see eye to eye, but that matter as she was my mom. I know she's in home and no longer in pain. Thanks for the music.

The emotions that are displayed in this composition are exceptionally placed and every string, note, cord is played/generated with a fiery passion that sets a blazing tone. I feel a wave of motion throughout this music discussion as I almost feel incomplete, like a part of my childhood is flashing rapidly through my mind. I try to keep up with the memories, but they haunt me as more nostalgic thoughts renter my mind while playing through this video. Staring into the dark ashy sky above him, he saw a dragon with someone riding it fly into the sky, he had nothing.....but a thirst for vengeance.

Dramatic story right here: 0:14 As Gus took the white flag, memories flooded his mind. All the chances he had to win on his home track in front of his home crowd, and every time, he never succeeded. 31 attempts…all failures. As he went down the backstretch with his teammates behind him trying to protect him from the pack, his mind could only ask one question. “How am I going to get screwed over this time?” He raced into turn 3, memories still flooding his mind, as at this very spot, he had blown a tyre on the last lap of his 31st attempt. He waited for the moment his tyre would blow, when he would get passed, or when he would run out of fuel. He came off turn 4, nearing the checkered flag with his adoring Australian fans standing on their feet cheering for him, he was still waiting for his race to be ruined… But that never happened. 1:20 He crossed the line and won the race in front of a home crowd that went ballistic as he crossed the finish line. He couldn’t believe it. After 16 years and 31 failed attempts… he had finally done it. He had finally won at his home track. His teammates finished 2nd 3rd and 4th, making it a 1-2-3-4 finish for Gus Murden Racing. As the pack slowed down for the cool down lap, everyone gook it in turns to congratulate the Australian for finally achieving his biggest goal. Gus had won the championship 3 times at his home track, but none of them had him win the race. But that had changed. In his final year as a driver, he had one at his home track. As everyone pulled onto pit road, Gus stayed out. He knew what he had to do. The fans went crazy as Gus did the burnout of his life. He got out of the car and was ecstatic. He was jumping around fist pumping all over the place. His teammates had ran out onto the track to celebrate with him, as they had worked together to win this race. “Guys, we did it! We won!” He screamed. But his teammates looked at him and his best friend Jake said “no. We didn’t. YOU did. This is YOUR victory.” Gus looked at them and realised why they had done all that blocking. that they had done all that for him. The fans cheered even louder when Gus pulled into victory lane. As Gus celebrated, he thought about how everything went down. He was still processing this, he didn’t think he actually won, but thought he was dreaming. But he wasn’t… this was real. He had won at his home track. And now… his career was finally complete.

He laid in the ash, he slowly stood up looking around at the fire, the collapsed buildings, the ash falling from the sky, the smell of burning wood in the air. He saw no one, heared no one, he fell to his knees clutching his chest as he cried. He looked up at the sky, the ash falling on his face. Staring into the dark ashy sky above him, he saw a dragon with someone riding it fly into the sky, he had nothing.....but a thirst for vengeance.

As Gus took the white flag, memories flooded his mind. All the chances he had to win on his home track in front of his home crowd, and every time, he never succeeded. 31 attempts…all failures. As he went down the backstretch with his teammates behind him trying to protect him from the pack, his mind could only ask one question. “How am I going to get screwed over this time?” He raced into turn 3, memories still flooding his mind, as at this very spot, he had blown a tyre on the last lap of his 31st attempt. He waited for the moment his tyre would blow, when he would get passed, or when he would run out of fuel. He came off turn 4, nearing the checkered flag with his adoring Australian fans standing on their feet cheering for him, he was still waiting for his race to be ruined…
But that never happened.

He crossed the line and won the race in front of a home crowd that went ballistic as he crossed the finish line. He couldn’t believe it. After 16 years and 31 failed attempts… he had finally done it. He had finally won at his home track. His teammates finished 2nd 3rd and 4th, making it a 1-2-3-4 finish for Gus Murden Racing. As the pack slowed down for the cool down lap, everyone gook it in turns to congratulate the Australian for finally achieving his biggest goal. Gus had won the championship 3 times at his home track, but none of them had him win the race. But that had changed. In his final year as a driver, he had one at his home track.
As everyone pulled onto pit road, Gus stayed out. He knew what he had to do. The fans went crazy as Gus did the burnout of his life. He got out of the car and was ecstatic. He was jumping around fist pumping all over the place. His teammates had ran out onto the track to celebrate with him, as they had worked together to win this race. “Guys, we did it! We won!” He screamed. But his teammates looked at him and his best friend Jake said “no. We didn’t. YOU did. This is YOUR victory.” Gus looked at them and realised why they had done all that blocking. that they had done all that for him.
The fans cheered even louder when Gus pulled into victory lane. As Gus celebrated, he thought about how everything went down. He was still processing this, he didn’t think he actually won, but thought he was dreaming. But he wasn’t… this was real. He had won at his home track. And now… his career was finally complete.
