Thanks for pointing to this part, it's been used a lot as a sound effect in various TH-cam videos and memes, it's nice to hear what is sung further from there.
Started to practice this tonight with the choir I belong to. It is quite a project as we are amateurs but it is going to be an incredibly rewarding journey. What a sublime piece of music, one of the many rewarding aspects of being a member of a choir is hearing and singing music that I would never have heard in my life.
Well done. But: Sometimes one single detail betrays if someone has a clue of what he is doing. It takes a colossal amount of ignorance and stupidity for a conductor to think he should "correct" the text of the "sanctus" which is a part of the latin ordinarium missae, a text that is prayed exactly this way for over 1500 years.
holy music starts: 12:55

12:53 Is a meme.
If more people could hear this, the world would surely be a better place. Charles Bruffy knows how to coax the sounds of heaven from his singers!
That's really what i thought. too.
i come here whenever I want to feel heaven. It's so beautiful and peaceful.

It has been more thqn 70 years since the death of Rheinberger so all of his works are in public domain
