I agree. This is phenomenal for the price! Obviously Naxos is more nuanced, but you can't complain eith this. I actually prefer the less sweet and more fresher facets to Voux Elegante. A great fragrance
I’ve let mine macerate for a month. No change. I like this because it’s lacking the sweetness of Naxos. Call me crazy but I’m reaching for this before Naxos all spring.
For me it's close to Naxos after you let it macerate/sit on the shelf for a while (After a few spray). I know people want it right away to smell similar, but if your patient, the percentage % of closeness will go up.

I can confirm this to be very true. With a lot of these Middle Eastern house fragrances, you got to let them sit for a few weeks after the intial 5-10 sprays. THEN they shine.
I just received this and im in love. It's not as nuanced as Naxos which is perfumery art, but this is great in its own way while being very close to Naxos. And actually I prefer the toned down sweetness and more fresher smell of this, meaning it can be used for day and night. It's captivating, and a truly gorgeous fragrance considering the price.
To be honest bro,this is a great scent much better than the normal clones we know and is usually sold out pretty quick..maybe you're comparing it to much rather then appreciating the scent
Not at all. As someone that owns both I can say Voux Elegante doesn't even come close to smelling or performing like Naxos. I have some killer clones, but this one is trash.

I agree, it's definitely sweet, more than he's making out that it's not. I think it's the perfect balance of sweetness and aromatic especially if you let the bottle sit to macerate/homogenise for a few weeks. This stuff is straight up gorgeous
I own naxos and I use Alexandria Fragrances 1981X for my day to day to save on my naxos. 1981X gets the attention we all want... may I say maybe more than naxos itself

Alexandria has a clone of this called 1981X. Would like to see you do that comparison. I've never smelled the original but had a decant of 1981X. Judging by the comments I see all the time, it's got to be more than 95% close. Might cost $20-40 more than this depending on the size you buy but probably well worth it.

There has been talk that some houses attach conditions although reviewers have been loathe to mention specific names because they don't want to get in to a back and forth 'incident' and would rather focus on content - so instead they just shy away from those brands. I know I have seen brands like Dossier send out these mass shipping/marketing events because suddenly within 2-3 days there are a half dozen (probably more I don't watch) reviewers reviewing the same fragrance ... and (perhaps legit 🤔) all positive reviews. On the flip side some houses don't get reviewed as often because they don't send out free fragrances for review. Still others don't get reviewed because there are hundreds of other reviewers doing reviews of them ... and TH-cam is after all a business where you need clicks to be successful and make money ... so many reviewers try to be different (i.e. just: retro fragrances, niche houses, high end, cheapies etc.).
Have both a 10ml decanter of Naxos and 1981x and it is similar in the drydown but it certainly doesn't replace Naxos at all. Naxos is so much better noticeably. Now, if you just want a second rate version of a true masterpiece, you can go for it but I say to get the real thing. You won't be disappointed. Btw, I have about 9 AF fragrances and like majority of them but when you smell the original for most of them, you can tell the difference. With that said, out of my large collection of fragrances, one of my all time favorite one, regardless of brand, is 1984 Hafez by AF. It is divine.

my manager asked me politely to not wear this particular cologne/perfume to work anymore lol she said it has a thick stuffy smell and that one of my coworkers complained about dizziness

No comparison, I have 1981x after trying naxos and it's ridiculously close, this however is decent for a cheaper option, probably has about the half the longevity and projection and has that synthetic opening
Would love a review of the Proraso Single Blade line. They're cheap fragrances on their own, but when you add in the corresponding beard wash, shaving cream, aftershave balm, beard balm and beard oil you're spending some coin just to have a consistent smell when you shave. Would love a review of each of the 3 fragrances, I haven't been able to find them in stores to sample or decants online
Some seem to disagree with Ash on this one and they really seem to enjoy this clone. I may try this one out and decide for myself. I do like my Pure Havane but have never smelled Naxos. I have heard the clone isn’t as sweet from other reviewers. Note Ash didn’t say it was bad just a more fresh and less sweet Naxos clone.
Man I have a hard time getting on board with Paris Corner after I bought Cedrat Essence. Quite literally the worst performing scent I have in my collection. I can’t speak for how close it gets to what it’s trying to clone as I’ve never smelled Cedrat Boise, but I can speak for the performance and man…..it is trash. Skin scent upon spraying. Gone completely in about a half hour. I’d say 1 hour longevity at the absolute most.
I have the same problem with almost all the Paris corner I bought. Apparently, we need to let them sit for a couple of months for longevity to increase. The only one I own without that issue is Voux. FYI
My nose must be broken. Tobacco Vanille, Red tobacco, and Harod I adore. Naxos smells like burning garbage to me. I had to sell off my bottle after blind buying it. Apparently everyone like it except me lol.

fortune, dua's clone of naxos, is very close. I have both and the while naxos is nice as a top shelf frag in my collection, fortune is much cheaper and nearly identical, thus getting more wear. I know you know of dua, i wonder why you say this is the best dupe out there, 2nd place you mention insurrection while saying there's plenty of differences, and leave out dua. I'm just throwing it out there, you don't have a to settle for a thinner "fresher" version of naxos.
Dua overloads every scent with low quality IsoE and Ambroxan, to the point they all smell like they have the same, chemical woodsy base. It’s off putting to many.
I have a lot of middle eastern clones and am sorry to say this one is among the worst . For me it smells like super sweet cherry candy with very low quality , it smells nothing like naxos . I’d pick insurrection wild 2 anytime over voux elegante if I wanted a similar dna .

The scent is top notch and it smells way Close to Naxos. Sadly doesn’t last more than 3 hours and doesn’t project as much as Naxos. Keep in mind before buying.

These big reviewers won’t touch Alexandria Fragrances because Alexandria makes BETTER fragrances than the originals
