UMX WACO - 3S POWERHOUSE!

Welcome back to Jon's RC!
In my previous video, I did the maiden flight on this beautiful UMX WACO. But, it was very very windy that day and I was only able to fly on a 3S 300mAh 30C LiPo.
Many of you have asked for a follow up video comparing a 2S versus 3S flight!

My UMX Timber EVO comes alive with the 3S compared to the 2S battery. Not surprised we're seeing the same with the WACO.

Yeah. This plane definitely comes alive on a 3s! But, still very enjoyable on a 2S for some nice easy scale flying!

I love the UMX Timber X. It can actually do full-on crankshafts, pop tops, and KE Spins with ease. For some reason, it has the most momentum out of all the UMX. The Waco is awesome too. The UMX Timber X is my #1 choice. I miss the UMX Beast 3D I hope they come out with a next-gen version on 4s or something. I still have my original modded on 4s.

My rudder was out of alignment Big time. I had to mechanically adjust it out of the box.

Hi, nice video!! I have an eflite umx pitts s1s that I have yet to try.
From the various videos on TH-cam the umx waco seems more docile and easier to fly, can you confirm that? Thank you

Hi! Thank you! I do agree with this. The Pitts can quickly become a handful in smaller spaces due to it wanting constant power entering turns, so you really don’t get a chance to slow it down. The Waco is able to turn aggressively at slow speeds without dropping a wing or stalling. They are both good models, however the Waco is much more of a performer in enclosed spaces. The Pitts likes bigger areas. Happy flying!
