- The human body is a marvelous creation designed to house the Spirit of God. But how should believers respond when their bodies fail to work properly? All too often, Christians react by immediately turning to modern medicine for answers. While there is nothing wrong with using the resources available to us, our trust and hope needs to be firmly placed in the Lord, not doctors or medical treatment.
In this message, Dr. Stanley teaches about healing from a biblical perspective. He answers common questions such as:
- Is sickness a result of sin?
- Is it God’s will to heal everyone?
- Where do physicians fit in the Lord’s plan for our healing?
- Can a lost person expect God to hear his prayers for healing?
- Can sickness be profitable in the life of a believer?
In addition to tackling these issues, Dr. Stanley reveals the Bible’s teaching on how to handle illness. Using James 5:14, he challenges Christians with health concerns to ask church elders ton anoint them with oil and pray for them in the name of the Lord. Dr. Stanley finishes his message by challenging all believers to consider themselves healing agents of the living God, ready and willing to be used by Him to intercede for others.

The Lord impressed upon me to ask if you'd tried a homeopathic (holistic) approach ta get your " brain soup" to a nice savory seasoning? I suffered horribly from all you mention, 79-81, again 85-86 with the last bout in 95 while detoxing from substance abuse. With the help of Mom and lots of prayer, I was able to FINALLY be FREE after 95 of this severely debililating illness. Id be happy to share much of what helped me? I understand if you are taking a different approach, but thought Id ask? Ill be praying for ya baby sis!
I suffered of all that and the Lord has had mercy on me and healed me. I still struggle with chronic insomnia and I am confident the Lord will remove that as well. It can be very difficult. Thank God I’m finally after having been saved 2 1/2 years now making progress in overcoming my besetting sin issue. I’ve so desperate for healing and even though I’ve been praying to God to help me for over a year now my pain issue hasn’t gotten any better. I hope now my relationship with God will be better and He will listen to my prayers. I really need to be healed of this crushing back arthritis pain and I want to be effective at praying for others who need it too. I hope that soon enough that will be the case as our relationship gets better. Praise the Lord for helping me to overcome sin - I’m so glad to be getting free of it!

Edit: my brother doesn’t have covid anymore, as far as I am concerned, but my sister still is sick. Thank God though that my brother is better, and thank you all for your prayers.

I pray for healing for the last year I was misdiagnosed with my health before my dad died June 2022 I got sick may 28th 2022 docs said I was stressed I kept telling them not feeling ok but had clots on lungs wasn't listened too and now same with my stomach issues for the last year shortness of breath and pains and acid reflux really bad . I'm asking crying out to the lord heal me and I've suffered for over a year I want to be healed and not die. Its really scary I need help and to be healed . 😢 Carla from Ireland 🇮🇪

On a physical level, our intake is making us sick. Fatty/processed foods, medicine, alcohol.. etc. Eat clean and fresh and your body can take care of itself more efficiently, the way that God made it to do.
I can relate. I'm 67. GOD has given me the capacity to take care of myself. My last blood pressure was 101/68 and my pulse was 50 beats a minute. Also, I had stroke 4 years ago. I thank the LORD.
