Brilliant - this was so straightforward. First time I’ve done this and will be able to descale easier next time. Many thanks.👍

I've accidentally run the descaling solution through the water run through mode!!! Does this matter? I've run clean water through 3 times after this. Is this now safe to use? The descaling mode wasn't working so I tried water mode and forgot the solution was in there. Please help!!!

Hi, has it ever happened to you that after descaling the taste of the coffe was weird, spicy/bitter? that was the first time we were descaling our machine, vertuo pop, i dont remember if i heated up machine before descaling, can be that problem? thank you, should i try to do with all overagain?

If the machine is not heated up, it can't get into the decaling mode. You can try to run an extra cleaning cycle after descaling.
