Mine had problems with the key not being accepted by the computer and the 4x4 switch going out but other than that it's been ok. Has 100k miles when bought but it was abused. Only put on about 20k miles but not on a highway and ofraoding/bumpy dirt roads.
I've WATCHED THIS VIDEO 3 OR 4 TIMES AND MY FAVORITE PART IS... HELLOOOOOO WORLD!!! GREAT VIDEO! HE HAS THAT NICE MELLOW KID NEXT DOOR. QUIRKY AND FUNNY CHARACTER! COOL VIDEO BROTHERRRRRR
I agree. My mother and I chuckled when we saw a new Silverado Work Truck at the local Chevy dealer with the 4.3. We couldn't believe that it was still made!
I love this thing! Even though it creaks, makes strange noises, shakes, and leaks oil it's great to drive in the snow and has really comfortable seats.
I have an 01 version of this truck and boy lemme tell ya....IT LEAKS xD work in progress but I love this truck. The 4x4 has saved me many times during heavy ice/snow days
Your're right. I found 3 in 7/2024. 2 sold within hours. The last one I thought i paid too much for, but 118k and no dents and just surface rear wheel well rust. Oh sure it needs most of a new front end but had a body painted cap and a Yakima roof rack on the cap. Blessed to have it now
I had to drive this for a month over the summer as I rear-ended someone with the Accord, and I must say that after a month I grew tired of it's gas sucking nature and the fact that it couldn't get out of it's own way. Definitely a good second car, though!
Looking for review because I just saw in 2019 $6,000 for 100,000 miles but rear cab rocker panels rusted out, apparently it's worth $6,000 if it's in decent condition. Drives a little worse than a minivan, 6 isn't as responsive as a Accord or MPV but ride and comfort isn't bad compared to say a 2003 Impala rental car. Would be cheap 4x4 for Minnesota where if you have rusted out body you just keep driving it.
Yeah, I have one in a Silverado, it makes 200 hp and 260 lb-ft torque this application, I actually like the engine(has 230k miles) its reliable, has good torque off the line and I like the sound better then the V8 believe or not, that said it definitely could use 50 more hp, more refinement and its hard to believe these engines in the 2013 trucks make the same power (actually less at 195) today as they did in the mid 90's. It was a good engine in its day but GM should probably be discontinued .
NDHvideos ....no. Full sizes are way overdone for 1, for 2 they are way too big. Not everyone needs something so massive and I convienent. And 3 a newer Colorado is literally about the same size as a Silverado, the older ones are mid-sized, the new ones are basically full sized. S10s are perfect sized
I’m here watching in 2023. I loved my dads first gen s10 and didn’t know they made a quad cab! Very cool
Man i didn't even know these crew cabs existed...only ever seen 1 in person
Im getting this truck today as my first truck. I've heard great things about these little trucks.
Lucky! I just now found out about them lol. How is yours doing?

Handed down my 94 4x4 xcab none zr to my son and bought a zr5 finding a lift has been hard but I'm loving the truck so far
ashtrays in the back seats of chevy trucks go way back in time to like the 80's.
I like it, & would like to know if this truck is for sale?
Hows the rattling? I read these trucks rattle a lot. Not sure if its just the extended cabs or all.
Crew cab s10 just simply don’t exist anymore I swear I’ve seen 2 in my life
fr tho, it’s like only the regular and extended cabs exist. i’d kill to get one of these crew cabs

Is that bad on gas?
Wow a quad cab mini truck...
Your Nevergunnaknow nothing mini about it. Just a regular truck, all these trucks today are just giant POS's

Im looking at one with 41k miles on it in excellent condition for $5500. I might offer him $5000 flat and see if he takes it.
@@RickJamesGhostGuns 1 year later I’m looking at one with double the miles for 9k. Hope you got yours

You're absolutely right. It's got the same torque ratings as my Accord V6, but only 190 horespower.
Hi good video ,nice sense of humor, hello world,ha I'm lookin for one but red, enjoyed the video, later.
how is the gas mileage?
i have the same truck mines black
Loved my ls S10 until it started nickel and diming me . Got a lot of power but it’s 4.3 got worse mileage than 5.3 Tahoe.
timothy moore 4.3 is outdated tech compared to to 5.3 I love my zr2 but I would love to 5.3 swap to gain hp AND mpg
is the radio a bose system
That at 90000 is when you need to replace water pump. I had two with the 4.3 and they both failed at the same time.
I got one at 190k miles with the original pump
That many problems at 91k ?! 🤔
console mounted cassette player is available before they disappeared late 2000s.
biukucanoe I have Sonoma crew cab with the console mounted cassette player.
lo compro
Driver door regulator going out
these Votrec 4300, have nice torque off the line but the fun ends after that, and a/c really sucks the power out of these engines.
abram7117 Well its made for pulling it hauling, not racing.
Dude...nh poww bro
Ba-hum-bug. i hate trucks. hahah :P
I hate everything but trucks.
"Got half a tank of gas". Who cares
Should of got a Colorado.
Better off getting a full size, a Colorado is pretty much an S10.
