It depends on how you want to play? My friend are broke. I paid for both of them to go to the prerelease. And will make it to where they have 15 packs worth of cards. After that there on there own. We plan to play premier and twinsuns. If you can try to put $15 a week in to buying 3 packs for draft. Or just mixing up what you got. Then do so and have fun. There are other games that can pull more.
Thanks for the overview. I didn't realize you draw two cards. That's a really great way to manage that. I wish the art called to me more and the fouls look really boring on camera. Personally looking forward to more content for this, even if I don't buy into it, I still love CCGs and follow Magic and Lorcana content.

Gah, I have too many things I'm already into right now. D&D, MTG, Lorcana (a tiny bit), board games...I might pick the starter up for this game, but I just can't jump into another game full on atm.

Asmodee is behind business and distribution this time. they wont let it fall the path of the other products business wise. And game wise the game is excellent, really polished and if you like star wars i think its worth getting into

the developers of swu have specially made it easier to get the cards you need even though it’s a tcg

After several plays, i like it. Not loving the art but i was impressed by the variety of playable decks.

Good thing about this game is the release schedule is every 4 months. May not matter, but I think it helps give you time to collect between sets.
good game ..I wanted to collect them but there are too many cards for nothing 4 different version for just one card ...
They are just variations, but you don't need to chase rares cards. You can save money just getting the basic version
