I work at Audi so I’m constantly driving these cars. They’re very nice and comfortable, but as soon as there’s some miles on them the quality starts to drop. Also I’ve never experienced a more intrusive and constant auto start stop system than in the new Audis. Great video
@@DreaminRidesI can verify what he said as a audi tech these cars are nightmares especially the Q7/SQ7 they’re riddled with electrical problems. the parts in the cars are designed to fail just after the warranty expires too.
@@MilesPerHr yes I guess since I work around broken Audis and Audis needing service my POV is a little tainted haha. But sure there are prob a decent amount of Q7/Q8s driving around with no issues at all.
I don't like cars this big, but this SQ7 looks so nice with that AWESOME interior and all of that space, I love it. This could be melting the ice in my heart for SUVs.
I really appreciate the car seat test! This gives a lot of perspective of space which many other car reviewers don't show! Very invaluable information!
I'm a fan of the Audi Q7 just based on exterior design. The Q7/SQ7 is a big vehicle that doesn't look ponderous. It's good to know that there are family-sized vehicles that don't look like a Greyhound Bus. Being a parent shouldn't require a CDL or moving family around in a motorhome. The Q7 can almost pass as a tall wagon thanks to it's proportions and clean styling. The only thing that gives me pause is the SQ7 grille design - kinda busy lookin' 😂. Thank you Miles, awesome "Live With" video. 👍👍
I absolutely my 2018 Q7 Prestige version that I got in 2022. (Same color) I have just about all the amenities and features of this 2025 SQ7 except the: adaptive cruise control, massage seats (but heated) dashboard glass visual, soft closing doors and of course the V8 engine for a fraction of the this $100K price tag. (Audi are consistent and don't change much over a generation 2 to 3 of this SUV, which good in my book) Let's just say, everyday, I am a very happy owner and satisfied that I am the free and clear owner of my Q7. Very well produced video! 😃
Thanks for reviewing this vehicle, I would have gotten suckered in by the engine sounds and power and not have noticed the downfalls everywhere else. It looks to be a great vehicle but I don’t think it is actually large enough inside to compete with others in its class. I will probably still go for a test drive though 😊
Go for the test drive just to satisfy curiosity. The 3rd row is cramped for passengers, but I will say that the flat-folding seats certainly help expand the cargo capacity.
Why do some press cars have Michigan plates? Even in California, they have them. Also (at least on this Audi), it’s not even the manufacturers MI plates, just the regular ones (Although interestingly, most of the manufacturers cars here in the Detroit area come from where the USA branch of foreign carmakers are, like California, Texas, New Jersey, etc.)
His comments about the seats are not correct. The front bolster is extendable. He needed to go into the bottom screen and access full controls for the seats. For me the seats in this car are very good. I am 6’-2” and have driven this car for over 11 hours without any discomfort.
If you don't need the 3rd row, I like the look of the SQ8/RSQ8 a little more, but if you want the option for bringing more people (small ones, as I show in the video), SQ7 is the answer
The seats are not bad. He didn’t access all the controls for the seats. They are in the bottom screen. You can adjust/extend the front bolster. I have this car and have driven as much as 11 hours with no discomfort

interior quality or mechanical? I really like the SQ8 and I want it to be a good and reliable car!

The start/stop is irritating. I will say that my mom has a 2018 Q7 with 70K miles and hasn't had a single issue, so they may not all be duds.
I had Q7 back in 2017
There is no issue in 4 years
With 90 miles

There are thigh extenders if you go through the infotainment screen and you can also adjust the bolsters.

As always this was a great video! This is probably my favorite attainable car right now. Would look so good next to my S5 ;)
We need a "What it's like to live with a BMW X7 M60i" or is there a video and I haven't seen it?
It has thigh extensions it’s in the screen, you also have more storage under the steering wheel and you have self driving and it stops in traffic

in my opinion the audi q7 generation from 2015 to 2019 was more elagant with the grill and headlights being more elegant than futuristic

RSQ8 or SQ7 , what to choose ?
It depends on what you want. Want more space and comfy ? go for SQ7, but if u're looking for a sporty feeling, then go for RSQ8.
Nothing the rsq8 can offer the sq7 can't offer as well
I don't understand why the q8 in general exist

You ever do older cars like not flagship for example a2016 jeep patriot lol just curious.
Not likely. The cars he reviews on this channel are all press cars, and they usually only give reviewers new cars to test.
@@planefan5812 sometimes he does older cars but like sportier ones he did an E92 M3 2 months ago and he just did a 90s Ferrari
I do some older vehicles on occassion, but I try to keep it to fun/special cars like a 1998 Civic Si, 1995 Ferrari F355, 2010 BMW M3, etc.
I just wanna hear from people is driving the sq7 for any year model reliable ?
Yeah no european SQ7 will sound like that😆
