Championship manager 01/02 was also in my opinion the best Champ man there ever was and I played all of them

CEX won't take the promo games as there is no barcode on the back. They are the full versions though.

Sounds like the belt has gone on that Walkman. This is a small rubber band type thing that connects the motor to the drive wheels. They break down over the years. A cheap fix but can be difficult to do depending on model.
Champ Man 01/02 holds its value for a few reasons.
1- It's was considered the turning point, the last game before a lot of people think it went too complex. It might also be one of the last ones before the 3d match engine but I'm not totally sure on that.
2- Generally considered one of the best Champ Man/ Football Manager games. Whether that's nostalgia or true is totally subjective.
3- Difficult to recreate on the PC, not available to download off any storefronts (to the best of my knowledge).
I think it is just one of those games that hit a zeitgeist and now if people fancy indulging in some nostalgia and playing champ man, that's the one they go for.
I really like the mad catz wireless controllers, got one of the ps2 and original xbox. Well made and work really well. 🎮🕹👍
Love the idea of a games room of the month/week. Think it would work really well if you did a quick chat with the person you can use as a voice over whilst going over the footage, everyone has a lot to say about their collections haha

Id love to know where that bloke got all those sealed games from! For him to know he could get more in cex yet still sell them cheap! All promo editions too and has lots of duplicates, very odd.

With the Sony Walkmans always look out for ones with headphones. Often the headphones are worth more than the Walkman.
Nintendogs always sells well, worth a pickup next time out.

That rating system are all pal the big uggly square is German, and the MA+18 meaning mature is Australian.
Term "PAL" is referring only to refreshing and resolution. The NTSC and PAL were indeed used In different region but anything newer that PS2. ( PS3/x360) have the same resolution and refreshing. Correct name for those game are European/American/Asian not pal/NTSC. And those Xbox games are multiregional promotional copies.
