Remember the Mangrove Mountain Dam survey pillar we built? That's when I got educated on the what happens when it's not quite secure enough.

I used some pieces of bed rails I cut about 6 inches long and screwed them in to the side FORM boards whereas needed and up against the end board with roofing screws. That stoped it COLD from moving ever moving outwards again!!!

Good Idea Bro! I will do a vid on the result of the tech screw systems, it worked perfectly no movement. I would love to see a bit of your work it is an awesome product.

@@offthegriddownunderaustral8814 Tanks for getting back to me on this. Come to think of it I screwed to both the side board and the end board. 4 screws in each 6 inch piece of bed rail.
My forms are two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood glued and screwed together. I had no bulging either.

There is a bow because you dont have soldiers. The walers are to hold the soldiers in place. You then need a lot less Z bars.

What do the numbers on the LVLs mean?

The numbers and Letters allow us to know which boards match with which board eg Number 1 and A match, 2 and B etc. The boards have the hole drilled for the threaded rods. It is so the holes match up for the threaded rods, My own system I have developed, you can call me a genius later.

@@offthegriddownunderaustral8814 ah, that's a good idea! The alternative would be spending lots of time lining up your holes so they all match. Or checking each board as you go.

There's rammed earth buildings at Dinner Plain in the Vic high country. They ran into some problems with erosion due to snow piling on the bottoms of the walls. There are recommended additives to prevent damage from frost. Many people who do rammed earth in colder environments add an insulation layer on one side, or in the center of the wall.

check Martin Rauch design which he came up with smart solution for erosion in his rammed earth construction ,( austria, german climate)
