How to Reach Mawryngkhang Trek
1. Rent a scooty for approximately Rs 500-700 or you can get taxi in Shillong ranging from Rs 2500 - 3500.
2. Open Google Maps on your phone to navigate.
3. Start your journey early in the morning to ensure ample time for exploration.
4. Aim to reach Mawryngkhang around 9 am.
5. Trekking time is approximately 2 hours, but considering the captivating beauty, allocate 3 hours for the trek.
6. Plan to start the return journey around 12:30 pm to allow for a 1.5-hour return trek.
7. Have food and snacks to refuel after the trek.
8. Return by following the same route on the map or the path you've traveled.
This adjusted itinerary ensures a more realistic timeframe for the trek and allows for a comfortable return journey.

Come to umkhoi canyon truely it will blow your mind cz there's a lake on the top of the cliff and also a jaw dropping waterfall called shumshum waterfall.. location:umkhoi, mawkynrew way to nongjrong viewpoint
