I dont get this. If you randomize a population into two groups, how do you ensure that the one group is "exposed" while the other is not exposed (if it was randomly selected)?
You could assign each participant a number and allow all the even numbers to go into the treatment group and the odd numbers to go into the control group. That way you have randomised the sample into two groups without experimenter bias.
