I just bought this hair. Since I didn't get the regular hippie braids to mix with it, just cut out some of the loose strands.

I have been wearing individual crochet braids for about 4 years now. I love it. I also install the hair myself. So, I love trying different types of braid hair. Great summer style Shay!! I had this combo during this summer too. Ran out of packs and mixed a few pieces of Gogo curl in the back and edges to fill in. It came out perfect!! No tangling either. 🥰 I will do this style again. And yes “light weight baby “ Ronnie Coleman
How many packs did you use?
I use 4 packs with a 1/4 th pack of gogo curl. But my braid pattern uses less hair. I do straight back in the front to the top of my head and 4 horizontal in the back like tracks.

How manageable was it after you washed them and reused the hair? I have some in and was thinking to wash and reuse as well. I did it with 2 of each but I think I’d do one more of boho hippie. Thanks for sharing
It was fine. The loose hair did frizz a little more than the first time. But overall it was manageable with foam. Thanks for watching!

I just put these in over the weekend, I love the look, its very pretty!😍😍 but the hair tangles and it’s annoying 😩😩 I’m hoping I can keep mine in for three weeks.
Wooow!! I definitely did not have that problem. But this video is years old. The quality may have changed. Dang i hate that sis.
This isn't the hair I wanted when I went to the beauty store but it is definitely the hair I needed. I've had it for 3 weeks and it has frizzed a bit but I just detangle, mousse and cut. I love this hair and hope to wear it for another 3 weeks 🤞🏾

I kept this hair up for a few weeks then washed it and stored it for another install. Its the hair that keeps on giving.

Wheew that was a while ago. But I’m pretty sure I used wig shine and a foam. But i do remember, that I really didn’t need any of it. I used it because it smelled good and I was being extra for my birthday 😂 you’ll be fine with water frfr sis ❤️

I REALLY loved the way these looked, but they wouldn't stay knotted when I crocheted them in my head. They were way too silky so I took mine out after a week.
I wish i could have seen how u installed it to give some pointers. I didn’t have that problem at all.
@@ShayLuvHair I've done the boho hippie locs several times (actually doing them again this weekend), and the texture is a lot less silky so I never have trouble with them slipping/loosening. I kept having to tighten the hippie braids and it just got to be annoying. It was a shame because they really are pretty and a nice change from faux locs.

I know this is an OLD video😄would it be ok to add additional loose curly hair to the top if you have thinner hair??

@@awilson4718 girl its funny because im doing that today. I thinking about going live to do it too. I think im going to use soft locs. But i have a video where i added loose pieces to locs from Sam’s beauty and they are amazing. Hands down my favorite style of 2023 and so far 2024.

Do you think 4 packs of boho braids will be really thick?
This video is pretty old. but I know which ever one has the strands coming out the middle of the braid you should use the least of. It will make the hair bigger and bulkier. Use more of the ones with just the curls coming out the bottom and accent it with the other ones.
@@ShayLuvHair perfect thank you so much!! I bought them before watching this video so I had 4 of the boho hippie (the one with the extra strands) but I had a few normal box braids left so I mixed one pack of that with 3 and a half packs of the boho hippie and it’s just right not too thick 😄

Its been a while but I think four. But i also remember i wished I had put more in the back so 5-6 would be ideal. But stick with only a couple packs of the boho hippie. Because the loose hair makes it thicker.
