- The footage from St. Quentin Scar is an example of how much easier it is to gets kills when you don't try to go for headshots. It would be interesting to see how the Scout class would survive without the "Sweet Spot" mechanic.
Scope magnification is set to 8x.
Oh and of course after so many attempts to get the legendary M1903 skin I get the Lebel's legendary skin first try.
I don't know if skipping the end of the reload animation by reload canceling is intended by DICE but you can do it since the reload threshold or cooldown ends before the animation finishes. Although it could be a bug considering how off they are.

Sorry about the title I wasn't able to check to verify until I got home from work. I think I was running under the assumption they were all named the same since they were the same three skin patterns for each of the new weapons. Le Tigre, Le Poilu, Le French Legendary Skin okay :)

Here you see medics refusing to heal...While i chase teammates trying to shove bandages down wounded teammates throats, the struggle is real.
I recomend playing hardcore. Killing support and medics refusing to give ammo, and then taking their kit throw some shit on the ground then pick up your own and resupply. while teabagging their corpse

I have absolutely been loving the lebel. The reload can be a bit of a pain, but it just fits my play style very well. Nice vid bro and keep up the good work..

sarswim6 i just change the sight to the one i like and keep it that way which actually helps no matter the situation
That's what I figured, I'm just not great at judging the bullet drop over longer distances (I shot that guy in the shin... that'll show him). I have had some luck with adjusting the sights, but have also forgotten to change it back when necessary, lol. Thanks for the response.

sarswim6 I leave the distance at default. I can tell how far up I need to aim fairly well depending on the distance between me and the other guy. It helps that when you shoot you stay scoped in so that you can see a point of reference of how much higher you need to aim if you miss.
Thanks for the advice and the response. I have a habit of descoping right away to rack the bolt, so fail to see where the shot hits. I will keep that in mind.

I love the Label! It's the reload that makes me love it! I thought every marksman rifle jammed up when there was mud or sand or dirt got on it and in the chamber. Nope! The Label does it every time you reload it! If only Dice implemented that in every marksman rifle, it'd add more immersion and lessen the arcade like nature of BF1.
It's not the bolt jamming, it's to raise the elevator up so a round can be placed in the chamber when the bolt is pushed forward

Did you ever notice how with reloading the lebel, you always put 1 bullet too many it? The first click is pushing the top bullet down, then you put in the actual number of bullets you need and after that you put in another extra bullet. Go see for yourself!

No, this actually is wrong.
The Lebel works in a kinda weird way. It didn't have a "top-down" clip (i.e. a clip where all the ammo is stacked under the bolt), it was actually a sort of tube magazine inside the handguard (like a tube magazine shotgun).
Since it was below the barrel, it needed a system to push the cartridges up to align with the chamber before you push the bolt forward.
This system was a metal "ramp" (basically a small metal plate that is curved) that was on the same level of the barrel but the front of it could drop when actionning the bolt, and I believe there was an ejector in the tube to push cartridges backwards twards the ramp.
When the bolt was closed, the ramp was down, when you open it, it stays down unless you pull the bolt really hard (which IRL could obviously lead to problems, since it was required to give a strong pull to just put one in the chamber).
What the BF1 character does when you press the reload button is actually (using the clip at 6:05):
1: push on the metal ramp down (since there was a loaded cartridge, the ramp was up)
2: put 7 cartridges in the tube magazine
3: push the bolt slightly foward and give a strong pull on the bolt to bring the ramp up
4: put the 8th cartridge on the ramp the close the bolt, you can also see he only drops the cartridge on it, really, not even pushing it in the chamber (which pushes it in the chamber, obviously)
If you look closely and pause, you can (somewhat) see the metal ramp before the character pushes it down, and you can also see it after the character pushes the bolt to re-pull it with more force.
*TL;DR* The feeding system of the Lebel 1886 was weird, which is why it looks like you put 9 cartridges in it instead of 8.
Hope that was clear and understandable, also I hope I didn't make any mistakes explaining how it works, cause that's a damn lot of typing lol

If I remember correctly, Ravic told that he uses Hellfighter because this sidearm is only one which looks more or less decent. The most effective would be Mars but it's too ugly in his opinion.

Everyone loves hor-90 FOV so much, I kinda understand, but it feels way too cropped up to me... I love it for longer range visibility, but I love the wider FOV of vertical 90....
I set both HOR and VERT to 90. I started playing a lot better because I got better visuals on my peripheral's. It's all preference.

I don't understand why they added sweetspots. Every other class got a nerf in comparison to BF4 yet the scout snipers got a buff in terms of bullet velocity AND the stupid random 1HK potential. Whenever I die from sweet spot kills I cringe at the fact that it's a random luck of the draw kill and took zero skill to pull off.
Same goes for suppression effect while we are at it. I can't count how many occasions I've engaged somebody and we both end up suppressed and the game is basically playing it self to determine where our bullets will land.

the skill ravic has is amazing, its almost inhuman. But its not the fact that he can aim and acquire a headshot because of his skill, but more muscle memory. which means he has played this game for a stupidly huge amount of hours.
