The city of San Antonio right this very second needs to create an Arena fund and dedicate a portion of all hotel and rental car tax fees to the fund. I believe the Spurs lease at the AT&T Center ends in 2030 but by 2028 a plan with rederings, funding , and a site need to be all ironed out. BRING THE SPURS BACK DOWNTOWN!!

Huge Spurs fan for 35 years here, from his press conferences, and the way he was brought up, Wemby is very down to earth. His character is very similar to Robinson and Duncan. He will take care of himself off the court, and he will be a success, perhaps not immediately, but he will bring success to San Antonio soon. Zion is a great player, but unfortunately, distracted by too many off-court issues.
