Emotion shouldn't factor into it, but a realistic understanding of history should: Anti-intellectual populist demagogues like Trump who work to de-institutionalize the system often presage systemic collapse or at the very least disestablishment of norms and the rule of law. On the other hand, if you take a purely dispassionate and data-based view of anthropogenic climate change, a woman's right to choose, and are disgusted with religion more generally, voting against Trump should be easy with zero emotion and pure logic.

Its how all propaganda and control of masses work, they appeal your emotional "feel good" side, (or the feel angry) to turn of your logical thinking. there are many psychological studies showing this effect working on both financial and like strategic discissions, Even in martial arts if u can get your opponent emotionally riled he is more likely to attack over-agressively and leave themselves exposed for a counter.
Stay cold headed people, take a couple deep breaths before reading the news and understand why and what the emotional "triggers" aimed to do.
a good way to start this is just analyzing headlines in news.

She only barely nicked the surface of the problems with an unrealized capital gains tax.
    1) It will require every American to submit their entire estate to be capital audited every year, to prove what your networth is, to assess your tax burden.
    2) Inflation will drive every middle class American into this tax bracket over time, just like it did with income tax (which was supposed to be temporary and only for the "rich").
    3) Yes, there will be a HUGE sell off of assets into the market to create liquidity to pay the tax bill, which will destroy the value of all asset classes, which will affect every single middle class American who owns any asset, which is most of the middle class (private holdings, 401Ks, IRAs, real estate, etc).
    4) Where will the liquidity come from? If everyone is selling to pay Uncle Sam, who's going to have the money to be buying? After all, all the people with the money are getting shaken down. The only way this "could work" is if the Fed steps up with their printer and provides the liquidity, which means the government is going to end up owning all of the businesses and assets in America, as the Fed buys everything in order to cash people out for their tax bill.
    5) This means that businesses will no longer be ran by the private sector, but by the government. The same people who are so out of control with their spending, and providing nothing in return, that they needed to resort to this sort of robbery. Do you think they will run these business any better than they do the country?
    6) This ultimately results in no American owning anything, and we are all just working for the government.
    7) Of course, when you own nothing, and can own nothing, there is no incentive to work or to innovate. So the government will then be forced to require people to work, and they will resort to heavy draconian methods to make that happen.
    Welcome to the USSA.

9:28 Margaret: I also find it quite fascinating that Kamala herself states that she believes in equity over equality, where no matter what place you start from, you all end up in the same place. That's a really interesting statement to make because that is actually one of the principles of communism. Harris: Which is everyone should end up in the same place, so we all end up in the same place.
Kamala is currently worth $8M, which is $2M more than when she became Vice President. Unrealized gains, perhaps? She and her husband own a mansion in Brentwood, California, worth $5M. She still owns a 2-bedroom apartment she bought for $2M in DC when she was a senator. And, she still owns a $1M condo in San Francisco that she bought when she was Attorney General. Yeah, I'm ready for some of her equity to come my way.

What would actually happen is a minor portfolio rebalancing in which people worth over 100mil increase their ratio of bonds to stocks.
This reduces stock valuations (hmm looking slightly more tempting) and reduces bond yields (hmm looking slightly less tempting), and the great mass of wealth owned by people worth less than 100million counter shifts *their* portfolios to a *decreased* ratio of bonds to stocks.

We need tolerance for every American and finally beginning to see all as the same as Americans to honor all. The democrats seem to be using separation and pitting hate against all we should have moved past that. Democrats now willing to do anything for the win, even at the loss of honor and hope. I don't care if the president is the most obnoxious person ever. As long as he/she can do their job, I'm good.
Another point Margaret made was regarding free health care for illegal immigrants. I'm here legally on a visa. If I want to qualify for any governmental benefit I have to work my ass of for 5+ years and be fully self supporting during that period before I'm even considered for any benefit. I wanted to come here, so I'm responsible for my own financial security. And I'm okay with that! But the fact that some border jumper can get free health care while I get nothing if I get fired from my job and have to leave the country as well... That just makes my blood boil.
