For anyone who never used Saltwash, you can save on product by letting your paint mixture sit for 15-20 minutes when it's not as thick as you'd like. It'll thicken up on it's own. Also, if you try the dry texture technique, adding the powder on it's own, make sure your paint underneath is wet so the powder adheres, then after you've added your powder, really saturate it with your mister and then it's really best to let it dry overnight. Sometimes the powder seems dry but is not all the way through so adding your next coat too quickly will make it very unstable and it will just end up mixing with your paint. Just a few things I've learned along the way when doing this technique, after learning it from The White Plum. Also, once you allow your paint to dry overtop, and start to scrape it back, if you mist your "holes" with water, the white from the residual Saltwash powder underneath will wash away and reveal more of your first color. It creates a gorgeous finished look. Crys'Dawna this piece is awesome. Love your color palette here!
@@BellaRenovare have not seen any of these.will look ,see. When do you return to the states? I really am impressed with these techniques. Southwest feeling shines through. Thank you much.

You know I’m an ardent admirer of your work, I wish I could come up with a clever new word to describe your art, what you do to a plain simple piece of furniture is staggering! Also, you look amazing, your changing, your channel is changing, and your working is morphing as well, is awesome to watch your growth,
Bravo! I’m binge watching and I promise I will not respond to each video. But you got me to pick up my paint brush tonight! I haven’t painted since right before Christmas, except a Milk Can for my daughter. Here I took all the rust off and painted the base coat. I sent my sister a picture and she said, “that’s going to look so cool all rusted up”. Gulp! What have I done? So I had to add rust. Someone suggested adding cinnamon. So I blended organs, browns, reds and made my rusty milk can! I will have to try your technique!. You are so inspiring!
This is a great tutorial, pal! Love the process on this and love the stamp! Will definitely rewatch👍👍I'm just back in Colorado (yay!!!) to restart my life after caregiving & pursue the future of Pretty Please Redesign. One week until the truck arrives w my schtuff 😳 Today I prep my living room to become a studio. I wish a very Merry Little Christmas to you and your family!!!
GORGEOUS. I never get tired of watching you work your magic always a treat. Your words come to me often TRUST THE PROCESS. I find that phrase comforting and extremely calming. Thank-you so much for your words and tutorials. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.😘❤️
I really like this one, Crys'Dawna! Been a subscriber of yours for months now, I like your full-rainbow effects too, but these subtle blends are my favorite!
Another awesome reimagined piece👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️ I’ve never used salt wash as a loose powder! But after this I will certainly try it! Thanks you for your continued inspiration🤗🥰

Hello ! your piece is wonderful, but i didn't understand, if you have used (after the polyvine) dark wax or brown chalkpaintcolor....could you tell me that ? Thank you, wonderful video, many thanks ! Have learnd a lot...heartly greetings........
Love your furniture art! Absolutely gorgeous! Question …plan to purchase the Maverick…can I use the red, yellow and brown from the Dixie Belle line ..I happen to have those colors… and I also have the Dixie Belle addictive…does it make a difference? Thank you for the wonderful and detailed tutorials! I appreciate your willingness to share your gifts with us ! 😊
Hola Cris!! Eso quedo maravilloso!! Te pido un consejo... quiero pintar un mueble grande con esta tecnica pero necesito que sea en colores turquesas o verdes claros... cuales pueden ser? Gracias y felicitaciones!
Whoa... when you added the yellow over the red I was 🤢 (reminded me of ketchup and mustard! lol). But of course you made it all come together in the end, as always. 😁 Are you still moving back to the States soon?
Question???? Did you use Annie Sloan paint for the brown? Was it Coco or Honfleur? Any other Annie Sloan used in the project. I’m loving your very own Maverick colour. Great look. You make it look SO easy 👍⛄️🛷🎁🥳👏🏼🎄🤗♥️♥️
When you are moved onto your property here in Maine will you be painting in these colors still? Or will you be using the more neutral colors you see here in the U.S.? I am a neutral person but these colors are starting to make me feel like i need to add some more color to my house lol. These piece is one of my favorites so far for the sunset colors
I will still paint the same way. I did this for years in the US as well and have always been colorful :) I think having pop of color mixed with neutral would be perfect!!!
Love going back and watching your videos. This is stunning!
