ATM's are set up to protect the bank and give the customer a hard time if things go wrong. Deal with a teller in person, even if it takes longer! If a teller comes to direct you to an ATM machine which they usually do.....just tell them that you need to speak directly with a teller because you need to get some specific coin change...or particular denominations....that gets them off your back and you get to see deal with a person? Works for me every time! Not only do I ensure that I handed my money to the bank in person and got a receipt....it also means in some small way I have kept a much needed employee....employed! I'm done with high tech that screwed me over several times over the years and I had to prove my innocence for the bank's incompetence! Deal with a person...save your money and save a job!

I had that same problem and chase bank Stevens Point Wisconsin however the machine also didn’t have a paper fo receipt

gave her money back, I just saw a video where the black guy didn't get his money back. same situation. they didn't believe him.
