Which pedal do you use? Or, have you found other solutions like I have??

Ok totally unrelated, but what kind of boots are you wearing when you're demoing the pedals? Those are sweeeeet

Oh this is a great comment!!!!Those are wolverine 1000 mile boots. I got them 12 years ago and they’re still amazing!! Funny enough I got a new pair on Saturday, since those are a bit too worn to dress up.

Thanks for the video, I had the same problems with pedals and didn't use my iPad on stage for this reason. I will definitely try it!

Great video, thank you for sharing this, Stephen!
I have been struggling with the unstable battery life and bluetooth connection with the pedal,
this can be a game changer!

Have you tried it? How did it work for you?

Great video, Stephen! Have you found a comfortable place to put the button on your soprano? I bought a Flic2 a few months ago, but I couldn't find a great spot to place it when playing soprano -- maybe the neck strap clip is the best idea!

Dr. Eason!! You're right, the soprano is a bit tricky to work with in this way, since we're a bit more engaged in balancing the instrument as we play (especially if using a straight neck). I've gravitated toward using it clipped on my neck strap for the most part, and it works just fine on soprano for me.

Thanks for this video! I'm an organist. This is game changer for me. I use an iPad connected to a 24 inch monitor, Forscore, with flick buttons placed near pistons to turn pages. I did noticed that there is latency compared to iRig Blueturn. Any solution for this?

Great video, I didn't know the Flic button, I will definitely give it a try. Which iPad app you use for the score?

This seems great for saxophonists, but as a clarinet I couldn’t think where to put this without Issue

I experimented with the Flic button a year ago, cause I hate the pedals on stage (as a spectator) - although I don't even play from iPad (yet). The constant foot tapping distracts me. Glad that you did this video. I also concluded that this is a good solution.
Did you run into any disadvantages so far?
I didn't like the reaction time, would have prefered a slightly faster response. You can make it quicker when you disable the double click for which the Flic waits after having clicked once. But still it could be more responsive. Is you pedal more responsive?

I have not really found any disadvantages at this point. I do think this Flic2, as opposed to the original, has a faster reaction time. For me, it is a nice option, and I like that it is so small. Hopefully they will continue to develop the tech to be even better!

Works wonderfully! I have the Flic on the instrument below my right thumb. The only problem is that the Flic keeps falling off because the adhesive surface on the round instrument is too small. Does anyone have a solution or idea for this?

There's a link in the description to order directly! They were on amazon until recently; not sure why they are no longer there!

    AND FOR CLASSICAL PIANISTS?

For pianists, a pedal is the best option.

Are there any guitar players in the comment section. If so, where to place it? I like the idea of this device, but as a classical guitar player I am using both hands pretty much all the time. Not sure this would work for me, but I like the design very much.
