Stanley Segalla one of a kind! Saw his act at Orange (MA) airport around 1970. Stuck with me until I ran into him by chance at Venice (FL) airport in early 1994 on my big flight to Key West. Just a great person that is also an awesome pilot. Treated my like a friend after 5 minutes of talking. A true ambassador of flying. Fly high sir...
Nice ........ but can you fly backwards? I did with my buddy long ago in a Santa Ana wind in SoCal......wind speed faster than min flying speed....took off in cub.....and came back behind where we started takeoff roll......strangest feeling ever.......nice show...
I got to hover in Cessna 150 with my flight instructor. The headwind stopped us in our tracks and the ground speed was 0. I asked him if he was certified to instruct on Rotary Wing as we were only hovering..

This routine ALWAYS cracks me up!
This reminds me of a 1989 performance by an aerobatic instructor pilot named Charlie Jirik from Texas, flying a J-3 Cub. Laughing my ass off!
Picking up his hat at the end without getting out of the plane was just perfect!
This is a classic if you have ever been to the show.
Stanley is great. Flown with him.
Great show
Bravo! I'd love to do that!
Great vid,Great flying!!!
We should go to Rhinebeck this year, even if we can"t see the flying farmer in his cub.

Charlie Kulp managed that in one of his shows.
