Didn't know about Guides at all! Just starting out for my new biz. Very overwhelming. Nice description/overview. I'll be focusing on Reels and Single posts first, I think.

With carousel posts... I have seen short videos shared in carousels. However, I am trying to do it, all videos less than 1mbps each, 4 of them, my internet speed is above 40mbps upload... but no next button to post it after it loads... any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for your insight! I have an etsy store where I'm selling my illustration in digital form. What do you think is the best to drive traffic (that convert to sale) to my shop? Socmed is challanging for me
If you’re doing Etsy, for sure focusing on Etsy’s search engine and getting ranked there. Then I would start looking at other ways to drive traffic to their store, like Instagram and blogging!

A big difference is that stories expire and reels are posted forever! Stories are more organic/natural, and reels are usually edited together!

I have a good question for you...you mention all of these Types Of Content you can create but I notice not all of these Types Of Content can be created through your Cell Phone and you need to use a Computer with a Web Browser to unleash Instagram's full potential no?
1. How to use guides technically?
2. If hashtags are outdated why IG still allows them?
3. Are reels available for our current audience to watch? or only for non-followers?
I'll keep #1 in mind for future videos! #2 - I personally don't believe they will bring much more attention to your posts. They're certainly still allowed - but it may be better to focus your effort elsewhere! #3 - Both can view your reels but opting to push to your main feed when posting will ensure your followers are most likely to see it!
I didn't even know IG had Guides 🤣 I'm definitely interested in this feature!

Is it possible to continue the same song through multiple stories?
You would have to add it to each photo individually! It would be easier to create a series of photos with continuous music as a reel!!
@@StephanieKase thank you! Yes I created a series of videos in reels then posted as a story. It’s tricky adding continuous music as you need to match up the lyrics! Yikes haha!

What an absolute mess of a platform.
It's too much, honestly. It's very annoying. Most of these things are the exact same thing recategorized for no real reason.
Different people consume content in different ways!

Reels are going to grow your audience faster than anything else!
