Re install Of arms 1st lower trailing arm bolt 2nd upper control arm bolt 3rd sway bar bolt 4th guide rod 5th roll over arm with jack Last lower control arm
Great tutorial! Appreciated the socket sizes & torque specs. Unfortunately my axle nut was completely rusted and I couldn't get any purchase with my 36mm socket, so I had to remove the 6 e12 bolts from the diff/axle shaft and pull the whole thing out. Then I dremeled the axle nut off and got a new half shaft to put in with a new hub & bearing. Car sounds SOOOOO much better without the loud whirring that was going on for the past 5 years :D
You also have to readjust the parking brake after working with parking brake components. And I believe you cannot reuse the nuts for suspension components
Much easier IMHO and no need to remove parking brake and the sensor a d disconnect all the suspension links. Left side is trickier though as you also need to unbolt the exhaust at the rear to move the axle, depending on the age of the axle and the state of the abs ring it might be worth replacing them at the same time spending extra 10 min
I cant put my cv axle back in my differential case. Threads look ok. Removed retaining clip ring just to make sure its not the one that caused resistance but same. I have 1.5 cm gap between diff and cup of CV axle inner end. Hammering doesnt do anything. What the hell is wrong
This has got to be one of the best tutorials I've ever seen
Hands down man. You filmed how to remove the parking break cable! Mine fell off and I wasn't sure how to put it back on.
Yeah that’s right ! I needed that demonstration in particular too ! Seriously ! A gold mine of information / guidance !!!
You did one hell of a job filming this brother.

👊🏼 🔥
Great job. Nice editing. Loads of dismatneling. But worth it. Thank you
Lower control arm doesn't need a extra 90°?
What is the time to change that bearing with complete work to the end
Is this for bmw 1 series
Nice work man!, helped a lot
How do I know when the spindle is in all the way I over did mine and it pushed the bearing through the other side

So thos is wear the abs ring is located on the e90 bmw 328xi 2007? I can't find my abs ring I have a p1774 code
Did doing it this way require an alignment afterwards?
I was thinking the same
Don't think so, the bolts from which you do the alignment are on the chassis side of the control arms, not on the wheel hub side
what was your total real time from start to finish?
still have no clue why my knuckle is misalign by 1in off, nice video btw
Is it not easier to just remove the drive shaft instead of these components?

How much is a job like this
Nice work, made me think I should do mine and not take it to the garage.
I would clean that area where the parking brakes are put a rust converter and paint
Excelente clase 👍
