Revenge is dysfunctional to its core rn. Too strong in some areas like damage and rewarding the defender for passive/failed defense, then way too weak in other like interruptibility, not rewarding active and successful offense and defense enough, not lasting long enough, not preventing opponents from running away etc
The best thing they can do for revenge is never touch it again. They have poisoned the well with new nonsense every time. It will never be perfect and it doesn't need to be

It should consider enemies within a certain radius as participating in the gank rather than tags. It should be harder to catch revenge'd players with gbs and grabs like shugo hugs or HL caber toss. If a player who is not locked onto you hits you, their damage should be moderately lowered unless they're in revenge.
how to fix evenge: every time you parry you refill a third of your revenge shield (cant go over what you get the first time) and extend it by 4 seconds, with blocks/dodges doing half that. But don't have the higher dmg and infinite stamina as granted, successfull hits should get you stamina and an attack buff whitch stacks and expires after a little bit so you can either stall by parrying or go to town by doing a lot of dmg. in regards to hyperarmour give it throughout the entire attack but get superarmour (can't be interrupted with bashes etc) near the end of an attack like after 400 ms for instance also gb invunlerability during attack startups but not recoveries bashes could throw the opponent to the ground (guaranteeing no dmg bc they're too far away) and giving them an attack debuff for a few seconds as a means to turn a 1v2 to a 1v1 for a short while 1v3 to 1v2 etc. this may definetely be overkill but is should be fine if you just change some values around
@@Lucas-ef1hn thats a good point cuz in certain instances once the gankers see you have revenge they will back up / spread out waiting for you to pop it .. tryna avoid damage. Then you can fight one & bait the others back in thennnnn pop it. I just find in those scenarios ill get bowed from off screen & die anyway without using it lol. That method is super situational.

Revenge needs complete immunity to hitstun and gb's i think. Its too easy to stall in most cases in 2v1 against revenge.. and I get grabbed all the time if I let a heavy go and a 3rd party is feeling ballsy.

I disagree because the psyche of the enemy is very different when you have an unused revenge, as soon as you pop it you lose that advantage
