i guarantee this goes the way of black desert. supreme hype at launch with a steady drop in players over the next 6 months. and not because of anything being wrong with the game, but because the people who bring it over are either gonna add or remove features to make it tedious/pay-to-win
That may be, but to be honest Black Desert was a huge pile of shit from the get-go and people were intentionally blind. I mean, I get excited/hyped too but that hype simply stops when bad news come in (LOTS of controversial/bad stuff in BDO). This right here looks incredibly solid already, can't speak for PvE content or teamwork mechanics though. If there is one thing every MMORPG needs, then it is the necessity to effectively play with team mates in a meaningful way (means: don't engage a world boss with 30-70 people and spam the shit out of him).
99% of the hype for Black Desert was just people going gaga over the visuals and character creation system. It had nothing to do with the game itself, which frankly I have not heard many good things about. In this game, yeah the character creation system looks pretty good too, but it also looks like a ton of fun, with slick combat, challenging PvE, a worthwhile story, lots of freedom to explore, and fast-paced leveling. I'm actually super psyched to play Revelation after seeing this video, whereas with Black Desert I was just sort of like "Well, that looks pretty." +Noble Haze "the mmrpg genre is dying" People have been saying stuff like this for over a decade, and yet all these MMORPGs are still active and profitable, and new ones just keep coming out.
you're crazy! the combat in black desert was awesome. that FUCKING rng though! i had a +16 stack to upgrade a weapon once and i STILL ran out of stones trying to get it to like +7. it was fucking ridiculous and needlessly punishing.
I've been trying to find a replacement for TERA. This looks to be the one. I tried Blade and Soul but didn't like it. Lets hope it has good community and socializing elements. TERA lacked that and often made it feel like a single player game.

My Pros and Con as of Oct 2017 Pros 1. Beautiful graphic design, between realism and high fantasy 2. Decent voice acting 3. Combat feels great, very action oriented. You can use 3 styles of combat. Traditional tab targeting, Action Camera and Point and Click. Some classes were designed for the action camera mode, while others for the traditional tab targeting, point and click. The healers are best with traditional tab targeting mode while melee classes are best with the action camera combat mode. 4. Leveling pace feels fast and you get a fair amount of skills, talents, gear while leveling. 5. Auto run to quest objectives and destination using Cntrl key plus F or clicking the quest name in the quest log. 6. Lots and lots of daily activities to do for daily rewards and exp. Simply click the "Road to Greatness" User Interface by pressing "U" and see what activity you would like to do. Easy porting to them too so no more wondering how to get there! 7. A fair amount of single player activities and fair amount of group content. There are single player dungeons and group base dungeons. 8. Varied PvP modes 9. Special Holiday Events 10. Lots of Role Playing activities that yield rewards like Mentoring, Followers, getting married, Guild Quest and Events and Social activities that have their own reward and currency system. 11. Lots of character progression systems in place like skills, talents, gear, crafting etc. Now for the Cons 1. Paid to win 2. Nothing purchased in the store is account bound and you can't share it with your other characters 3. Membership bonus and subscriptions is NOT account bound but CHARACTER bound - yep you read that right! If you want to play another character class you would have to pay to have that character subbed to the game making your other subbed character waste their remaining days! 4. No one uses that game Auto Looking for Group system, you have to manually make parties for dungeons but that is not a huge problem with the Control Key plus T feature that lets you advertise and make your own dungeon parties but is not explained to you in the game, I had to ask around on how to find dungeon parties because the game only teaches you about the auto looking for group feature which no one ever uses. Pls ass to this post if I missed anything! thx. Yes, I am still playing is still a FUN game just do not subscribed until you land on the class that you will really like to play till end game level 79 for now.

The one thing that dragged me into this game was the gameplay (super fast pace depending kn thr classes you choose) and the fantasy like setting kinda, on top of that you are not stuck with only one class through the whole game since you can switch back and forth. I would give it another shot before quitting the genre. Also I'm in the same boat as you, theres no good mmos out there
I can tell you right now this game is going to be MAJORLY successful if the company does it justice. It disappoints me to see so many people comparing this game to others and overall saying negative things about it. First of all, Revelation is NOTHING like Blade & Soul. The only similarities is that it has the same concept artist, and you can glide. • Revelation has some of the best graphics in an MMORPG I've seen (in the West) except for BDO. • There's 3 different types of combat modes • There's a marriage system and player interactions • Housing • Open World • Social Jobs • Active events and jumping puzzles • Soon to be Naval Wars • Unique classes • Detailed Character Customization • Guild bases and activities I could go on. To simply compare RO to another MMORPG is a mistake. Revelation simply took all the good content from MMORPGS and put them into one. It's a GREAT game, and as a strict MMORPG player, it's one of the best I've played. You all truly underestimate how great it actually is. This video showed close to nothing, to what the game has to offer.
Gameplay seems to mix many games' best aspects. It has Aion (wings and flying), combat is like blade and soul(unique classes combos and interface)+tera(fast 3d dodge and telegraphing), eastern-ish story and animation like blade and soul. 3d Naval and player housing has been in archage and several other games. Not to mention many asian games seems to have that in depth character creation menu
Trust me... 4 years or so back I was the same as you waiting for Blade & Soul to be released (western release)... Played it for about a week and it got repetitive fast :/
This game borrows so heavily from Perfect World. Watching this video, it looks like Perfect World ver.2 to me. So much so, I wonder if the same people were involved. I know MMO's get compared to each other all the time, but this is uncanny how much it looks like an updated version of PW. This isn't a bad thing, its actually made me very nostalgic and excited to play it. I played the western version of PW (PWI) for 6 or 7 years before the extreme p2w elements just got to be too much for me, even though I still love the game itself. If this comes here without the extreme p2w of PWI, sign me right up for this.
i was Hyena leader of Dogma in pwi. the only reason i tried this game was due to it being pw2. its not. its a phone game on pc. everything that made pwi great in the beginning is missing. all you can really do in this game is a daily. theres no world pvp no world grinding. i really wish pwi hadnt gone hardcore p2w. i quit when they started selling rank 9 and miss the game.

This is like the best of Tera + Aion (wings) + Blade & Soul. Probably one of the better if not the best MMO on the market. If they can port it to the west without screwing up, they'll have a winner on their hands. Here's a tip on how not to screw up: don't make it play to win, don't gate flight or character customization behind a paywall. That's it. Now I wonder when the western release date will be.

yea o.o' wings in a game aren't all the special of a thing Flyff has Wings and Broomsticks and flying boards and flying clouds and flying cars and flying motorcycles.... and lots more honestly im pretty sure Flyff was among one of the first MMORPG's to widely utilize a flight system

exactly. also (i play on the CN servers so idk if it will be the same on the EU/NA servers) you can craft some of the cash shop mounts and wings with in game material and currency. Some are for a limited time, some are permanent. but yeah at least you can get them without paying.

Its My.com it's already been ruined, the RU server is an example of this aswell as the CBT3 Cash shop and being able to completely boost/refine everything to max its a typical Jade Dynasty/9Dragons Cash shop system...*CBT Player here* very P2W its going to be full of wallet warriors until it dies off in playerbase after 4 months
maybe the world doesn't feel alive because it doesnt have normal animals, like birds or rabbits walking around. Or maybe it is because the city itself feels lifeless because there are only NPC's and no normal citizens. but that's just my view from what I have seen in this video. it indeed felt a little bit empty

While I was playing I was thinking why I can't kill anything as fast as before then I realized that every time I leveled up I got points. When I started to use them i had so many hundreds of point that it almost killed me while using them xD

It's great to know you'll cover it in the near future. The game changed a whole lot, what stayed is it's uniqueness. Judging by your very positive first impressions above some of the undeserved negative comments at the launch of the game, it should get your attention even more. I'm personally hoping to see you on it for at least some amount of time. To point out upcoming patches for your own awareness, besides a fresh fourth DLC which came out not too long ago, consoles are getting an additional text chat in August 2016, player housing is also coming at the end of 2016 / early 2017.
Ok, so Im kinda excited that this game come to western. Cuz in China this game is mostly died. And Im excited to know how this game will be died in western, or not. So here are some most complain of this game in China, why its died? 1, this game was released between B&S and moonblade, so many players were lost by that, cuz those 3 are most popular mmorpg in that year. 2, the them of this game is sooooo weird in China, not like moonblade or age of wushu those are very Chinese style. But this game, the topic or stuffs like wing, are so weird, just like combined Chinese and western style. 3, without a good story, the mmorpg wont attract player, as I said the them is so weird for Chinese, even the story is logically, but we still wont like it. Furthermore, stores of this game are kinda younger-age trend. 4, most players complaining there are too much things need to to in this game daily, if a player want to max their gaining each week, 4 hrs are at least needed per day （because the gaining is accounted weekly, and different activities each day plus some daily tasks）. 5, I saw some arguements for P2F ? To be honest if this game gonna run same in western, you guys dont have to concern that, cuz even you can pay some money for faster play, but thats not that much too gain by paying money(if you can max the gaining weekly by doing all those tasks.) 6, the combat system isnt that good comparing B&S or Moonblade. I think thats all
I guess most Chinese mmo player have tried that one, and I do too. My opinion is, that game now has its core players, which means most players were gone for many reasons. And its hard to say a game good or bad cuz people have different taste. For Bless online, its a very few fans in China, because more our mmo players like action games rather than locking target mmo games like wow or ff14.
Those famous mmo are equally similar population. But probably 剑网3 is more players than others this is an old game released 2007. Most player would consider that as and its also a wuxia game, the theme is same with moonblade online, but just the story based on history is different. The 剑网3 is talking about Tang dynasty which is 1400 years ago, but moonblade history is North Song dynasty which is about 1000 years ago. In game, the moonblade is better graphic but less freedom than 剑网3 and more idea stealing from 剑网3 and Age of Wushu. By the way, some sale well game in western like guild wars 2 FF14 in China are very small populated game. But population seems very stable, not like blade & soul or Revelation online. In addition, wild star is dead, rift online is dead, old scroll online will never welcomed cuz the ugly character and character outfit.

Sadly not that lucky. I got the e-mail saying I got in and I downloaded it but when I try to play it tell me I need an invitaion or to buy a founders pack. So I'm going to assume the only why to play is by paying money and buying a founders pack. And I'm not going to buy a founders pack without atleast playing it first so saddly I wont be playing till launch if its free to play.

After playing this game for almost like 7 hrs The action combat is nice and also the effects of it *cool* but feels like a really old MMO Dueling with players i noticed that our damage to each other was not big damages its like some lvl 1 enemy hitting you so it doesnt make it feel intense for you to dodge their skills :( You can use pots in the duel and its alright but then this pots make huge heals and the match took us like 10 minutes or so, it was really slow and some people i dueled said "just end this duel" Flying feels nice as you go way up and just see how nice the view is and some places in the game are pretty cool looking and it amazed me feels screenshot worthy ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ Going against mobs and the dungeon boss, so i was dodging their attacks and suddenly i thought like what would happen if i get a direct hit by a an enemy monster or a boss, first the enemy monster not so much damage to be considered dangerous or "i should really dodge" and the boss i encountered in the first dungeon didnt do much damage but it attacks fast so at some point you might just might need to dodge but still feels like i should just tank it like old MMOS and just use a pot if my life is low Though i saw a video about a boss raid where they got damaged really huge, never been that far yet :O This is just my opinion hheheheh

The thing he is riding on which you have no idea is a gourd. Its a type of fruit, but its also possible to harvest it and use the inside for a bottle. Traditionally in Chinese films the characters use it to keep wine.
+Asyhlt 666 ESO is also doing great, I'm enjoying it. Playing as support feels like being Jesus. One of the things I love about the game is that you could play as a Sorcerer stamina tank or a Nightblade support. All classes can be any role. The PvP is really fun and the community is the best I've seen compare to other MMOs I want to play FF14, but currently can't pay subscription monthly due to college and other dept issues. I really enjoy the game (even though I found the combat a bit boring) Feelsbadman.

I love being able to fly, flip, and ESPECIALLY run on water so I'm definitely playing this game plus there is a class that is two of my favorite things to do in games like these , heal and summon I can't wait until it releases into the west!
I agree. My gunner character didn't have the lean when she ran but some of the other classes did. I'm not sure if they intend to fix it or not but they really should.

fish to be fair I make most of my first characters based on myself meaning they will either look emo or they look like they don't give a fuck about anything.xD So far this is the only chracter I've made that came out looking tomboyish for some reason.

J.J.C gaming closed beta, which you can get access to for about 20 USD is set to release late this month in the west. But with a quick guide you can figure out how to play on the Chinese servers too if you really want to start playing like I did :)
frankly, bns is more of a single player game (up to a point) thanks to the community. i loved the gameplay, story and the looks of the game, but godDAMN that community. met only 3 decent players in a year and a half of playing. guild wars 2 on the other hand.....they have it all. awesome community, decent looks, great gameplay (controls took me some getting used to after bns) and a really good story. granted, it does need work particularly in the cosmetics department, but aside for that, its a game where free and paid players can do the same shit and still get the good loot. only real disadvantage is no mounts or gliders until u get expansions
thats a good way to look at it. I have no problem a having an easy time leveling as long as the questing is impactful. maybe I'm just longing for the old wow days lol. The game looks promising if they keep publishing new end game content I'd be happy to put some money into the game.

Even I'm a Chinese , I never heard it's game before, so i did some research. the Chinese name for this game is 天谕， release by one of the best Chinese game Dev called 网易. Same as black desert, players won't feel different before they reach lvl 50. But after that, players need to pay a lot to lvl up faster and get better gear. In the Chinese version of this game, the average amount that players spent is 100rmb to 1000rmb, and some hardcore players spent over 10k rmb which is abt 1500usd ( but they are top top players on the list)
This game looks so awesome/good. I tried Black Desert, but the lack of any real combat roles was kinda off-putting. That, and the only way to make your character looks different was by buying an outfit. This game seems to have everything I'm looking for in an MMO. Absolutely cannot wait for it to release in NA.

just started early access...after playing 11 years of wow and a bunch of diablo im really impressed with how refreshing it look, how i actually made my toon look like my dream girl lol(these guys know how to make females), and really awesome fast and fluid gameplay all that at so far lvl 28... think max is 79 or 80
yea this game has issues later on, same dungeon to level in for like 20 levels straight and p2w, i hope devs for other games learn however from the things this game did well
It's a pretty blatant copy of Blade & Soul. I mean, being Chinese, you kinda expect that. The character designs are super generic across the Korean/Chinese MMO genre type.
Are you serious? It's taking at least as much from Aion as it is from Blade. Honestly, the game looks like a great combination of many MMOs. Like it's taking the best elements from each. It should be excellent, as long as it doesn't get too RNG heavy and the cash shop isn't ridiculous.

Been waiting for this to come out in the West and it finally is in CBT, a friend of mine bought me the goddamn $90 Founder Pack when I only asked for the $60.. Going to lay this a lot since I'm now in the CBT, next CBT round is this month if you also have access.
This game also seems to put higher emphasis on role playing and world exploring. BNS is more PvP focused with the story mode being mostly a breeze (every single story boss is easy as crap, safe for when you are supposed to lose, in which case it's insta death for you). They are similar in terms of dungeons and the bosses, though RO does seem to be more challenging in terms of PVE content.
Why are you doing so many compliments to this game, I don't understand. Combat seems stupid, cutscenes are in chinese (how can you praise something you don't understand), the Hud sucks and overall it seems the most chinese thing I have ever seen. The only think I like is the graphics and the visual.
yes very Asian, but all text is now in English, skill windows remind me of SWTOR, think if you played a game similar, you soon pick it up, but my concern is some countries including mine made amine unde rage looking girls illegal to interact with, depending on the nudity or any sexual contact. Its a shame, But its always been that way, it chinese or Japanese culture which government's fail to recognise.

Great video! Game looks fun, although the combat is a bit all over the place "playing-animation-sequence" targeting thing.. I don't mind targeting, I'm just hoping for more of a "let me click to attack" instead of 1-9 click to do a skill kind of system... I mean if you look at dmc3 vergil gameplay you will see him dashing around and shit, similar to these animations, but his moves are completely player chosen, it's dynamic and free to perform as a player, that input is what keeps you alive, and truly satisfying when you do it right! because it's not as easy as just pressing a button (as it seems like in this game). But even with the animation thing, it still looks like a fun experience... although the biggest issue I have with this, which is probably an opinion, is the fact that you start with the super powers... I would love it if my starting character would be able to jump a normal human height, and be physically limited as I am in real life... then progress and advance in the aspects I choose to master in! if it's water walking, faster movement sprinting, attacks, air gliding, super landing resistance, or whatever super powers you seem to have right off the bet... it's just.. like, to me it looks like, cool I can do all these things! fun! but... at level 1000 can I do anything else? no... my speed, the height of my jumps, my air gliding abilities, everything, is the exact same as a new fresh character who has just been made... I don't know, it has 0 sense of progression, you don't feel like you have a cool character, you just have a big number beside your name, that's it. Anyways thank you for this great video, you're entertaining to watch, I watch a lot of lp so if that means anything. ^.^

i guarantee this goes the way of black desert. supreme hype at launch with a steady drop in players over the next 6 months. and not because of anything being wrong with the game, but because the people who bring it over are either gonna add or remove features to make it tedious/pay-to-win
That may be, but to be honest Black Desert was a huge pile of shit from the get-go and people were intentionally blind. I mean, I get excited/hyped too but that hype simply stops when bad news come in (LOTS of controversial/bad stuff in BDO). This right here looks incredibly solid already, can't speak for PvE content or teamwork mechanics though.
If there is one thing every MMORPG needs, then it is the necessity to effectively play with team mates in a meaningful way (means: don't engage a world boss with 30-70 people and spam the shit out of him).
That seems to be the thing with almost every new mmrpg. Then people wonder why the mmrpg genre is dying.
99% of the hype for Black Desert was just people going gaga over the visuals and character creation system. It had nothing to do with the game itself, which frankly I have not heard many good things about.
In this game, yeah the character creation system looks pretty good too, but it also looks like a ton of fun, with slick combat, challenging PvE, a worthwhile story, lots of freedom to explore, and fast-paced leveling. I'm actually super psyched to play Revelation after seeing this video, whereas with Black Desert I was just sort of like "Well, that looks pretty."

you're crazy! the combat in black desert was awesome. that FUCKING rng though! i had a +16 stack to upgrade a weapon once and i STILL ran out of stones trying to get it to like +7. it was fucking ridiculous and needlessly punishing.

I've been trying to find a replacement for TERA. This looks to be the one. I tried Blade and Soul but didn't like it. Lets hope it has good community and socializing elements. TERA lacked that and often made it feel like a single player game.
I used to play Tera, but I think Riders of Icarus is a bit better.

Pros
1. Beautiful graphic design, between realism and high fantasy
2. Decent voice acting
3. Combat feels great, very action oriented. You can use 3 styles of combat. Traditional tab targeting, Action Camera and Point and Click. Some classes were designed for the action camera mode, while others for the traditional tab targeting, point and click. The healers are best with traditional tab targeting mode while melee classes are best with the action camera combat mode.
4. Leveling pace feels fast and you get a fair amount of skills, talents, gear while leveling.
5. Auto run to quest objectives and destination using Cntrl key plus F or clicking the quest name in the quest log.
6. Lots and lots of daily activities to do for daily rewards and exp. Simply click the "Road to Greatness" User Interface by pressing "U" and see what activity you would like to do. Easy porting to them too so no more wondering how to get there!
7. A fair amount of single player activities and fair amount of group content. There are single player dungeons and group base dungeons.
8. Varied PvP modes
9. Special Holiday Events
10. Lots of Role Playing activities that yield rewards like Mentoring, Followers, getting married, Guild Quest and Events and Social activities that have their own reward and currency system.
11. Lots of character progression systems in place like skills, talents, gear, crafting etc.
Now for the Cons
1. Paid to win
2. Nothing purchased in the store is account bound and you can't share it with your other characters
3. Membership bonus and subscriptions is NOT account bound but CHARACTER bound - yep you read that right! If you want to play another character class you would have to pay to have that character subbed to the game making your other subbed character waste their remaining days!
4. No one uses that game Auto Looking for Group system, you have to manually make parties for dungeons but that is not a huge problem with the Control Key plus T feature that lets you advertise and make your own dungeon parties but is not explained to you in the game, I had to ask around on how to find dungeon parties because the game only teaches you about the auto looking for group feature which no one ever uses.

The one thing that dragged me into this game was the gameplay (super fast pace depending kn thr classes you choose) and the fantasy like setting kinda, on top of that you are not stuck with only one class through the whole game since you can switch back and forth. I can tell you right now this game is going to be MAJORLY successful if the company does it justice. It disappoints me to see so many people comparing this game to others and overall saying negative things about it.
First of all, Revelation is NOTHING like Blade & Soul. The only similarities is that it has the same concept artist, and you can glide.
• Revelation has some of the best graphics in an MMORPG I've seen (in the West) except for BDO.
• There's 3 different types of combat modes
• There's a marriage system and player interactions
• Housing
• Open World
• Social Jobs
• Active events and jumping puzzles
• Soon to be Naval Wars
• Unique classes
• Detailed Character Customization
• Guild bases and activities
I could go on. To simply compare RO to another MMORPG is a mistake. Revelation simply took all the good content from MMORPGS and put them into one. It's a GREAT game, and as a strict MMORPG player, it's one of the best I've played. You all truly underestimate how great it actually is. This video showed close to nothing, to what the game has to offer.
Gameplay seems to mix many games' best aspects. It has Aion (wings and flying), combat is like blade and soul(unique classes combos and interface)+tera(fast 3d dodge and telegraphing), eastern-ish story and animation like blade and soul. 3d Naval and player housing has been in archage and several other games. Not to mention many asian games seems to have that in depth character creation menu
Trust me... 4 years or so back I was the same as you waiting for Blade & Soul to be released (western release)... Played it for about a week and it got repetitive fast :/

This game borrows so heavily from Perfect World. Watching this video, it looks like Perfect World ver.2 to me. So much so, I wonder if the same people were involved. I know MMO's get compared to each other all the time, but this is uncanny how much it looks like an updated version of PW. This isn't a bad thing, its actually made me very nostalgic and excited to play it. I played the western version of PW (PWI) for 6 or 7 years before the extreme p2w elements just got to be too much for me, even though I still love the game itself. If this comes here without the extreme p2w of PWI, sign me right up for this.
i was Hyena leader of Dogma in pwi. the only reason i tried this game was due to it being pw2. its not. its a phone game on pc. everything that made pwi great in the beginning is missing. all you can really do in this game is a daily. theres no world pvp no world grinding. i really wish pwi hadnt gone hardcore p2w. i quit when they started selling rank 9 and miss the game.

This is like the best of Tera + Aion (wings) + Blade & Soul. Probably one of the better if not the best MMO on the market. If they can port it to the west without screwing up, they'll have a winner on their hands. Here's a tip on how not to screw up: don't make it play to win, don't gate flight or character customization behind a paywall. That's it. Now I wonder when the western release date will be.

exactly. also (i play on the CN servers so idk if it will be the same on the EU/NA servers) you can craft some of the cash shop mounts and wings with in game material and currency. Some are for a limited time, some are permanent. but yeah at least you can get them without paying.

maybe the world doesn't feel alive because it doesnt have normal animals, like birds or rabbits walking around. Or maybe it is because the city itself feels lifeless because there are only NPC's and no normal citizens. but that's just my view from what I have seen in this video. it indeed felt a little bit empty

The game changed a whole lot, what stayed is it's uniqueness. Judging by your very positive first impressions above some of the undeserved negative comments at the launch of the game, it should get your attention even more. I'm personally hoping to see you on it for at least some amount of time.

Ok, so Im kinda excited that this game come to western. Cuz in China this game is mostly died. And Im excited to know how this game will be died in western, or not. So here are some most complain of this game in China, why its died?
1, this game was released between B&S and moonblade, so many players were lost by that, cuz those 3 are most popular mmorpg in that year.
2, the them of this game is sooooo weird in China, not like moonblade or age of wushu those are very Chinese style. But this game, the topic or stuffs like wing, are so weird, just like combined Chinese and western style.
3, without a good story, the mmorpg wont attract player, as I said the them is so weird for Chinese, even the story is logically, but we still wont like it. Furthermore, stores of this game are kinda younger-age trend.
4, most players complaining there are too much things need to to in this game daily, if a player want to max their gaining each week, 4 hrs are at least needed per day （because the gaining is accounted weekly, and different activities each day plus some daily tasks）.
5, I saw some arguements for P2F ? To be honest if this game gonna run same in western, you guys dont have to concern that, cuz even you can pay some money for faster play, but thats not that much too gain by paying money(if you can max the gaining weekly by doing all those tasks.)
6, the combat system isnt that good comparing B&S or Moonblade.

I guess most Chinese mmo player have tried that one, and I do too. My opinion is, that game now has its core players, which means most players were gone for many reasons. And its hard to say a game good or bad cuz people have different taste. For Bless online, its a very few fans in China, because more our mmo players like action games rather than locking target mmo games like wow or ff14.

Those famous mmo are equally similar population. But probably 剑网3 is more players than others this is an old game released 2007. Most player would consider that as and its also a wuxia game, the theme is same with moonblade online, but just the story based on history is different. The 剑网3 is talking about Tang dynasty which is 1400 years ago, but moonblade history is North Song dynasty which is about 1000 years ago. In game, the moonblade is better graphic but less freedom than 剑网3 and more idea stealing from 剑网3 and Age of Wushu. By the way, some sale well game in western like guild wars 2 FF14 in China are very small populated game. But population seems very stable, not like blade & soul or Revelation online. In addition, wild star is dead, rift online is dead, old scroll online will never welcomed cuz the ugly character and character outfit.

I'm playing it and there was this cool assassin update which is shadowblade. Check it out!
After playing this game for almost like 7 hrs
The action combat is nice and also the effects of it *cool* but feels like a really old MMO
Dueling with players i noticed that our damage to each other was not big damages its like some lvl 1 enemy hitting you so it doesnt make it feel intense for you to dodge their skills :( You can use pots in the duel and its alright but then this pots make huge heals and the match took us like 10 minutes or so, it was really slow and some people i dueled said "just end this duel"
Flying feels nice as you go way up and just see how nice the view is and some places in the game are pretty cool looking and it amazed me feels screenshot worthy ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ
Going against mobs and the dungeon boss, so i was dodging their attacks and suddenly i thought like what would happen if i get a direct hit by a an enemy monster or a boss, first the enemy monster not so much damage to be considered dangerous or "i should really dodge" and the boss i encountered in the first dungeon didnt do much damage but it attacks fast so at some point you might just might need to dodge but still feels like i should just tank it like old MMOS and just use a pot if my life is low
Though i saw a video about a boss raid where they got damaged really huge, never been that far yet :O

+Asyhlt 666 ESO is also doing great, I'm enjoying it. Playing as support feels like being Jesus. One of the things I love about the game is that you could play as a Sorcerer stamina tank or a Nightblade support. All classes can be any role.
The PvP is really fun and the community is the best I've seen compare to other MMOs
I want to play FF14, but currently can't pay subscription monthly due to college and other dept issues. I really enjoy the game (even though I found the combat a bit boring)

I love being able to fly, flip, and ESPECIALLY run on water so I'm definitely playing this game plus there is a class that is two of my favorite things to do in games like these , heal and summon I can't wait until it releases into the west!

I agree. My gunner character didn't have the lean when she ran but some of the other classes did. I'm not sure if they intend to fix it or not but they really should.

None of the classes are gender-locked. The male Occultist/Necromancer just looks adrogynous.
I know my necromancer still look like a emo goth even when editing heavily.

J.J.C gaming closed beta, which you can get access to for about 20 USD is set to release late this month in the west. But with a quick guide you can figure out how to play on the Chinese servers too if you really want to start playing like I did :)

frankly, bns is more of a single player game (up to a point) thanks to the community. i loved the gameplay, story and the looks of the game, but godDAMN that community. met only 3 decent players in a year and a half of playing. guild wars 2 on the other hand.....they have it all. awesome community, decent looks, great gameplay (controls took me some getting used to after bns) and a really good story. granted, it does need work particularly in the cosmetics department, but aside for that, its a game where free and paid players can do the same shit and still get the good loot. only real disadvantage is no mounts or gliders until u get expansions

thats a good way to look at it. I have no problem a having an easy time leveling as long as the questing is impactful. maybe I'm just longing for the old wow days lol. The game looks promising if they keep publishing new end game content I'd be happy to put some money into the game.

Even I'm a Chinese , I never heard it's game before, so i did some research. the Chinese name for this game is 天谕， release by one of the best Chinese game Dev called 网易. Same as black desert, players won't feel different before they reach lvl 50. But after that, players need to pay a lot to lvl up faster and get better gear. In the Chinese version of this game, the average amount that players spent is 100rmb to 1000rmb, and some hardcore players spent over 10k rmb which is abt 1500usd ( but they are top top players on the list)
This game looks so awesome/good. I tried Black Desert, but the lack of any real combat roles was kinda off-putting. That, and the only way to make your character looks different was by buying an outfit. This game seems to have everything I'm looking for in an MMO. Absolutely cannot wait for it to release in NA.

yea this game has issues later on, same dungeon to level in for like 20 levels straight and p2w, i hope devs for other games learn however from the things this game did well

It's a pretty blatant copy of Blade & Soul. I mean, being Chinese, you kinda expect that. The character designs are super generic across the Korean/Chinese MMO genre type.

Are you serious? It's taking at least as much from Aion as it is from Blade. Honestly, the game looks like a great combination of many MMOs. Like it's taking the best elements from each. It should be excellent, as long as it doesn't get too RNG heavy and the cash shop isn't ridiculous.

Adel Tiger This game looks way more like a fantasy game compared to bns.
This game also seems to put higher emphasis on role playing and world exploring. BNS is more PvP focused with the story mode being mostly a breeze (every single story boss is easy as crap, safe for when you are supposed to lose, in which case it's insta death for you). They are similar in terms of dungeons and the bosses, though RO does seem to be more challenging in terms of PVE content.

Why are you doing so many compliments to this game, I don't understand. Combat seems stupid, cutscenes are in chinese (how can you praise something you don't understand), the Hud sucks and overall it seems the most chinese thing I have ever seen. The only think I like is the graphics and the visual.

yes very Asian, but all text is now in English, skill windows remind me of SWTOR, think if you played a game similar, you soon pick it up, but my concern is some countries including mine made amine unde rage looking girls illegal to interact with, depending on the nudity or any sexual contact. Its a shame, But its always been that way, it chinese or Japanese culture which government's fail to recognise.

Game looks fun, although the combat is a bit all over the place "playing-animation-sequence" targeting thing.. I don't mind targeting, I'm just hoping for more of a "let me click to attack" instead of 1-9 click to do a skill kind of system... I mean if you look at dmc3 vergil gameplay you will see him dashing around and shit, similar to these animations, but his moves are completely player chosen, it's dynamic and free to perform as a player, that input is what keeps you alive, and truly satisfying when you do it right! because it's not as easy as just pressing a button (as it seems like in this game).
But even with the animation thing, it still looks like a fun experience... although the biggest issue I have with this, which is probably an opinion, is the fact that you start with the super powers... I would love it if my starting character would be able to jump a normal human height, and be physically limited as I am in real life... then progress and advance in the aspects I choose to master in! if it's water walking, faster movement sprinting, attacks, air gliding, super landing resistance, or whatever super powers you seem to have right off the bet... it's just.. like, to me it looks like, cool I can do all these things! fun! but... at level 1000 can I do anything else? no... my speed, the height of my jumps, my air gliding abilities, everything, is the exact same as a new fresh character who has just been made... I don't know, it has 0 sense of progression, you don't feel like you have a cool character, you just have a big number beside your name, that's it.
Anyways thank you for this great video, you're entertaining to watch, I watch a lot of lp so if that means anything. ^.^
