I have also been watching your videos, will edit this once I get my result on Thursday! I am both excited and nervous. EDIT: I PASSED! 50/50 and 67/75 Thank you

Driving Crawley 49/50, cheers amigo. HP went well too. Gave your video one last watch before I went in just for the tunes (hence the singalong comment) - worked like magic
I passed my Theory Test first time last week; Wednesday 4th of May, at Southwark (45/50 on Theory and 57/75 on Hazard Perception ) I had booked my test on 20th of April and had literally just 2 weeks to prepare for it. Working 60 hours a week, it was bound to be tough, and honestly speaking, I had my doubts and wondered if it was a mistake. First 3 days, I wasted my time, literally going through google searches on "How to pass driving Theory Test" or "Tips/Tricks to pass Driving Theory Test". Finally, on day 4 I got the app "Theory 4 in 1" and went through "Mock Tests", every day. I was on average doing 8-10 Mock Tests every day, with each Mock Test having 50 questions, which means I was literally going through 400-500 Questions everyday. With just one week left, I was averaging 35-37 marks, in my Mock Tests. I had completely at that point, given up on Hazard Perception, focusing only on Theory Part. With just 3-4 days left, my average finally shot up to 45-47 marks. Whenever I got any questions wrong, I would write it in a sticky note and put it in my bathroom wall, kitchen wall, living room wall, bedroom wall and even on the fridge. I was going all out, going through those sticky notes, after waking up, before going to sleep, before eating, after eating, and even on brake time at work I would go through 2-3 Mock Tests. Finally, D-Day and at Southwark Centre, my heartbeat shot up and I prayed and prayed, if only I had given myself more than 2 weeks, maybe I should've prepared for at least 6-7 weeks, so that I'd be more confident. Once I sat inside, and started my test, I reckon I was 100% sure with only 38 questions, meaning I had flagged 12 questions to come back later and go through them. I was praying all I need is 5 questions to be right. for the Hazard Perception, I was very focused, because it's mainly about spotting the Hazard, so you just spot it early and get 2 clicks and count to 2, then 2 clicks and then count to 2, then 2 clicks again. After I came out, I was like - Jesus I flopped, I guess, I'll go home and book it again, but when the guy gave me the paper, I didn't even look at it for few minutes, only once I got to the bus stop that I checked and shouted sooo loudly, Hurraayyyy. Even I was shocked; 45/50, like WOW. But, what shocked me even more was Hazard Perception, where I got 57/75
I passed my theory before we first went into lockdown but wanted a refresher/recap since I’m finally back with driving lessons and this is really helpful :) got to jam out to the music too! Thanks!
Just did my theory test (second time, did it years ago but never went through with a full driving test) and had one singular question about road signs! Thanks for all the videos anyway, they helped a bunch (passed)

I used the video on the morning of my test to get the bits I didn’t understand. I used the DVLA app and wrote notes as I went along. Everyone’s learning style is different x
Thank you. The one I find difficult is the bus lane sign. The distance between the sign and the actual bus lane is short. So it leaves you little time to react
Yeah normally the bus lane sign is just a few meters from where the bus lane starts, as the sign as to say the bus lane starts here, not to warn you it coming up. Of course the idea being you should be able to see the sign well before you reach the bus lane, also road makings, such as the road being painted red, should help, but these can be hard to see as their wear down over time, and also the signs can get 'lost' amongst other hazards. It is not an issue where I live as the bus lanes are basically along the whole road, so you just never go left, but in some towns I know they stop and start every 1/2 mile or so, then in these situation the debate would be is is best to just keep right and not bother going back to the left if the bus lane only end for a few hundred feet, therefore only use left lane for turning left.
keith6400 good idea, bus lanes with hours of operation are a bit of a nightmare. Even if you managed to read the signs and work out if you are allowed in other driver might still not use them and then you look like a idiot for using it. So glad the one where I am are 24/7 so just never use them, easy
Thank you for this video i struggled with my theory as i failed before twice, seeing this video helped me pass on my third try as signs is something that does get confusing some times
Moving to the UK soon and need to learn new rules, new side of the road, new side of the car, and all the new signs. This is super-helpful for getting started!

Passed mine today with 50/50 and 70/75. Best method for me was to just do the mock tests on the app and favourite/flag the questions I got wrong or wasn’t certain on, then kept taking tests including those questions until I no longer got them wrong or needed to guess. Didn’t have to do much for hazard perception tbh, but just one mock test, which is a lot easier to do, as long as you focus on clicking when you think there’s a situation that you might need to react slightly

2:30 a *Purple* Audi The negative signs would be a lot more intuitive if they were always crossed through diagonally. Like the "Do Not Cycle" one would be a lot clearer if the bicycle was crossed out.
5:20 I believe this sign may be reversed, i.e. have the first side road on the right and the second side road on the left. Most people would not see this as important but in the example shown a vehicle could suddenly come out of the road on the left and then need to turn right into the other side road then stop just left of centre to give way to oncoming traffic as you come up behind with too much speed with a stationary car blocking the way. It is not advisable to turn left then right in this way if the main road is fast and there is no turning box allowing through overtaking traffic.

Hello chaps and chapettes, I passed my theory the other day and would like to tell you all how I did it: - Theory 4 in 1 (get the premium and do the pass guarantee feature. Definitely worth it!). The hazard videos are ok-ish on a phone or tablet but in the actual test, it's so much easier when viewing on a PC monitor. - Watching THIS video! There are tons of road signs as you know but I assure you, all you need to know is in this video. Do those two. You'll be fine. Feel free to ask me any questions. Good luck.
Such a good videos. Thank you very much. I passed my theory test yesterday. Yours Hazard Perception video help me a lot. I would highly recommend your channel. The best one.
Very much appreciated. I passed my test two years ago, but I'm preparing to interview for a driving job, and I was advised to swat up on my Highway Code.

Louisa nyoni sorry i’ve only just seen this but honestly it was so much easier than i expected and most of the questions were literally the exact same as the practise ones like on the app so it was nothing new really :)
I passed this is how. I bought the book. I read the end of it. I used this video and others on TH-cam. Morning of the test I literally read every word of the Highway Code I then practiced on the official appp alll 700 questions and just had time to review the 8 I got wrong. In between the last week I done some mock tests kept passing focusing on subjects I struggled with.Thank god there were no colour question on the motorway lights or the crossing I got lucky I also with hindsight should have practiced the hazard perception more but I got 8 points on the double fault which got me past the line 47 out of 50 and 42 out of 75 on hazard perception not bad eh thank you
Glad the video helped, liking and subscribing helps to shows your appreciation :-) Or if you are feeling really nice you could buy me a Ko-fi ;-) ko-fi.com/drivingcrawley
i made flashcards while watching the video for any signs i thought i would get confused on or not understand right away. I recommend doing this on apps like Anki so you can quickly do it in your spare time or on a journey on a bus as some signs are very obvious whilst some can be slightly tricky.

I passed my theory test using an app; thus, when I get asked by my instructor (since there are no choices) I am unable to answer some of his questions. 😂 This video is great and has helped me refresh my brain. Hopefully I will pass the actual driving test too! Thank you! ☺️
literally had a theory test where 10/50 of the questions were first aid based. like "if you approach an incident and a child is not breathing what do you do". Like wtf?
I'm an mature driver and going for my theory on Sunday. Been reading the reviews and they are as helpful as the video. Wish us luck as i'm dyslexic and nervous 😓 😬
🥳🥳🥳I've PASSED my Theory Test!!! Multiple Choices 45 Hazards Perception 59 Thanks A Million. For all you tips and motivation. You are a Diamond 💎 ✨ 💛 💖 😅👏🙌🙏🙏🙏
Okay, you need a valid provisional & not necessary to have your theory test to take lessons. Some drivers would perfer you have it but isn't a requirement. As far as i'm aware all you need is a provisional & you can book lessons with a driver instructor in your area.
As above, you can take lessons as soon as you in in receipt of a valid and in date provisional licence (also assuming you can read a number plate from 20 meters away). Some like to pass the theory first, but most do a handful of lessons then sort out the theory, it is your choice. You then need to take as many lessons as required until you can confidently drive to the correct standard, the amount of lessons depends on things such as: - If you do any private practice - Levels of anxiety - Coordination - How active you are in the learning process, so do you ask questions, do you engage in conversations with your instructor, do you reflect on the lessons when you get home, do you do homework like watch TH-cam videos etc. etc. - Area you learn in, some areas are easier (Scottish countryside) than others (central London). - Car you learn in, automatic will take fewer lesson than driving in manual. On average they say people take about 45 hours of professional lessons and 20 hours of private practice, and I feel this is quite true. Once you have had sufficient practice / lessons AND have passed the theory test within the last 2 years you can take your practical test, when you pass that you will have a full UK licence.
Got my motorbike theory test on the 6th. Almost done with my 463 page theory test book, i want to just make sure i pass first time. Due to how long it now takes to get the tests. I'm hoping i'll pass, with all the knowledge i now know. Not only do i know the answers for sings & road markings. I now know why it is in place with detail, i suggest after learning your signs. Now learn road markings, different traffic lights, different types of hazards, motorway studs & signs. This will help you alot if you learn all that! Also side note: I got confused with a GIVE way sign... these are sometimes painted on the road & are blank. Just think of it as an upside down warning sign.
Sorry don't know the waiting times, it can depend on the test centres, as a few theory test centres are not open yet so your nearest one might be one of those, but the large majority are open. Also consider there are thousands of people with the same question as you, so there is a lot of demand. All I can say is just keep looking for dates, even if it is in a theory test centre that is 1 hour away from you, hopefully something will come up.
Plenty of other videos to help with the theory test on this playlist th-cam.com/play/PL8-cAqyDz_ZZ2Qq05K4yIf0DRsNFe6RuD.html If you follow all the tips and put the practice in I am sure getting 50/50 will not be out of the question. Be of course I would say that because they are my videos lol

Question: the mandatory sign for no ‘U’ turns has a diagonal red line through it clearly, in simple “sign” language, recognisable by literate people to mean “NO”. The no cycling sign, on the other hand, does not have the readily interpreted diagonal line through it. Why the inconsistency? THAT, in itself lends scope for ambiguous interpretation, especially if, by coincidence, both signs happen to appear, simultaneously, at the same location.

@@farhaanahvarachhia yes true, one of the keys to success with the theory test, and driving in general!, is to read the question and answers carefully, many people assume what the answer is, having not read the question properly, and get it wrong. Like I say similar with real driving, all the information you need to drive safely is there, you just need to read it (such as on a multi lane roundabout). Of course this can be easier said than done, so a good solution is to read out the questions allowed, also talk out allowed when driving, it will help make sure you are processing the information correctly and therefore more likely to give the correct answer / response.
@@UKDrivingTest Hey yeah your absolutely right it’s important to know and make sure you are reading the questions correctly as well as using common sense whilst driving as well as making sure that you don’t get distracted by anything else and yeah there are signs and all on the road you just need to make sure you are anticipating well and looking out thanks for the advice.

Congratulations! I enjoyed reading your post ☺️
Me same i passed today Alhamdulillah, i got 45/50 and 62/75

This is the best guide to road signs I’ve seen on TH-cam, thank you.
Thank you :-)
I passed first time after watching this! Thank you so much! I really struggled with signs before this video xx
Great job!
If you are doing a driving test in an area where bus lanes exist it is prudent to work out the operational times before your test starts.
keith6400 good idea, bus lanes with hours of operation are a bit of a nightmare. Even if you managed to read the signs and work out if you are allowed in other driver might still not use them and then you look like a idiot for using it.
So glad the one where I am are 24/7 so just never use them, easy
G
Thank you for this video i struggled with my theory as i failed before twice, seeing this video helped me pass on my third try as signs is something that does get confusing some times

Glad it helped.
Make sure you subscribe there are plenty of other videos on things such as mock tests, footage of real test, how not to stall and other bits and pieces. All I hope will help you to pass the practical :-)

The negative signs would be a lot more intuitive if they were always crossed through diagonally. Like the "Do Not Cycle" one would be a lot clearer if the bicycle was crossed out.

@@byanymeans101 I pass it bro 48/50 and 54 in hazard perception 🙏🙏
If you are not the best you are not the second, best video ever.

Hello chaps and chapettes,
I passed my theory the other day and would like to tell you all how I did it:
- Theory 4 in 1 (get the premium and do the pass guarantee feature.
Good luck.
I’ll remember not to carry explosives in my car 3:27

Such a good videos. Thank you very much. I passed my theory test yesterday. Yours Hazard Perception video help me a lot. I would highly recommend your channel. The best one.
Pleased to hear the videos helped 😀
My theory test is tomorrow, find it pretty spooky that TH-cam recommended this to me today. Thank you though, informative video!

How was your theory test! What kind of questions came up? Was it hard?
Glad it helped!
Did you pass?
Matthew Russell yes i got 49/50 😁😁
Louisa nyoni sorry i’ve only just seen this but honestly it was so much easier than i expected and most of the questions were literally the exact same as the practise ones like on the app so it was nothing new really :)
I passed this is how. I bought the book. I read the end of it. I used this video and others on TH-cam. Morning of the test I literally read every word of the Highway Code I then practiced on the official appp alll 700 questions and just had time to review the 8 I got wrong. In between the last week I done some mock tests kept passing focusing on subjects I struggled with.Thank god there were no colour question on the motorway lights or the crossing I got lucky I also with hindsight should have practiced the hazard perception more but I got 8 points on the double fault which got me past the line 47 out of 50 and 42 out of 75 on hazard perception not bad eh thank you
Thank you watched this and passed my theory test today

i made flashcards while watching the video for any signs i thought i would get confused on or not understand right away. I recommend doing this on apps like Anki so you can quickly do it in your spare time or on a journey on a bus as some signs are very obvious whilst some can be slightly tricky.

Great video. I’m 17 in 3 months and want to start driving soon. What are the steps needed after I get my provisional to actually driving ?
Okay, you need a valid provisional & not necessary to have your theory test to take lessons. Some drivers would perfer you have it but isn't a requirement. As far as i'm aware all you need is a provisional & you can book lessons with a driver instructor in your area.
As above, you can take lessons as soon as you in in receipt of a valid and in date provisional licence (also assuming you can read a number plate from 20 meters away).
Some like to pass the theory first, but most do a handful of lessons then sort out the theory, it is your choice.
You then need to take as many lessons as required until you can confidently drive to the correct standard, the amount of lessons depends on things such as:
- If you do any private practice
- Levels of anxiety
- Coordination
- How active you are in the learning process, so do you ask questions, do you engage in conversations with your instructor, do you reflect on the lessons when you get home, do you do homework like watch TH-cam videos etc.
First time watching this. Before watching this I kept on getting 34/50. Can’t wait to run another mock test

Bruh how tf u fail twice
Melvin because I’m dumb
Question: the mandatory sign for no ‘U’ turns has a diagonal red line through it clearly, in simple “sign” language, recognisable by literate people to mean “NO”. The no cycling sign, on the other hand, does not have the readily interpreted diagonal line through it. Why the inconsistency? THAT, in itself lends scope for ambiguous interpretation, especially if, by coincidence, both signs happen to appear, simultaneously, at the same location.

@@UKDrivingTest Sometimes you miss the answers though especially when your feeling panicky right?
