Nice job. As you’ve soldered the track into a continuous loop won’t it buckle when temperatures rise/fall? Expansion gaps are one of the benefits of the rail joiner approach.
Very true, but the room is temperature stable, I highly doubt it get any issues..and I’m not planning on taking it anywhere is temperatures extreme enough to be an issue
Thanks. I just use grey car primer, but have used Humbrol grey primer through the airbrush with good results. I’ll be doing a video on track painting again in a couple of weeks for the current project

Been doing a lot of research and testing and it’s what I am finding to be the best, just now confirming my findings, so your reply has really helped, much appreciated. @@AlphaKing-ux6oc no problem, it’s always good to do your own tests aswell and find something that works for you, as everyone has their own preferences
It’s the same gauge as N, as it’s 9mm. So you could use N, but 009 track has the sleepers spread further apart, and at 1/76 scale so they don’t look too small

If you stagger your rail joints instead of having them be right across from each other you'll totally eliminate kinks.
