Every proposal they make, without exception, and policy they devise is Charvaka masked in US exceptionalism and neo-liberal greed. Thank you Shaunaka Rishi Das for this genuine and profound clarity.

Excellent presentation. I enjoyed this lecture.
The concept of God is a fascinating topic. there cannot be an end to this question, this will last as long as humanity exists.
Fortunately, unlike other religions Hinduism is not a closed religion and allows freedom to think and come up with more explanations. Christianity and Islam are closed religions, you cannot change the Bible or Quran on this issue, in fact you cannot even question them and remain in those religions. Answers for these eternal questions are already provided in their scriptures but Hinduism is an elastic religion and you can question and still come up with more explanations, more Upanishads and more philosophers like Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhava can appear in Hinduism and Hindus would accept their teachings. Meanwhile let us rest with whatever explanations we have so far on this question of "What is God?"

Both people who believe that there is God and those who believe there is no God are in the same boat

Some people find it profitable to portray atheism as synonymous with selfishness; Darwin's theory should not be conflated with social Darwinism, a fascistic ideology some Hindus seem comfortable with. As an atheist, anarchist, and communist l continue to be inspired by among others, Marx, Spinoza, and Indian philosophy.

+Samrat -> Sir, The population of India is well over one billion people. I should think that you might find someone in that population who teaches the Bhavagad Gita and who you can accept. Why not start there? It is hardly true that it is always foreigners who teach the Gita. As a Westerner, I am very very pleased to have this introduction by this man as he is saying it. I also listen to Hindus who teach the Gita. Sir, Maybe you would like to ask who is listening when you object to who is teaching, because what, after all, is skin color or tribal origin? Does Sri Krishna only host Indians? Yes? Then maybe I have misunderstood Sri Krishna and should consider all to be merely a materialistic universe. Thank you for your time.

There are several questions I am wondering for about Abrahamic God.
    Please anybody try to answer-
    1. Why did God did not stop Abraham for sacrificng an innocent lamb for his mere willing to test whether Abraham was devouted to God or not.
    2. What was God doing when Satan entered Heaven for 2nd time to lure Adam and Eve in order to eat fruit.
Even today we have CCTV cameras fixed in our house to check if someone is entering in our house or not.
Doesn't God knows it. If so then why did not he stop Satan for entering into heaven.
    3. What was God doing when Satan was luring Adam and Eve to take fruit.
God should have easily stopped or make aware Adam and Eve by sending some devine message or some SMS or whatsapp message.
    4. Why did God punish two innocent Adam and Eve when it was duty of God who failed miserably to protect Adam and Eve from Satan.
    5. Where did God put Adam and Eve on Earth after he expelled from Heaven?
6.Why did God made such rules that in Heaven you cannot eat animal but in earth you can.
    7. How can Holy spirit be responsible for making Mary pregnant? A spirit cannot have genital, sperm. ? How the sperm of God and Ova of Mary met in order to give birth to Jesus.
    8. If Jesus was alive in Heaven, then why he need to take birth in the womb if Mary. Jesus should have directly come down to earth.

      1. God did not stop Abraham because the Abrahamic god is a Dom/master in BDSM-style, and requires complete obedience of his sub to please the Dom/master. If you’ve watched the Netflix series Snowpiercer, then Mr. Wilfred is the Abrahamic god, and requires his loyal servants to slice themselves with a blade in his bathtub to prove their devotion to him.
2-3. God did not stop Satan because a Dom/master wants his sub to be lured so that the sub can then be appropriately punished. Sometimes the sub itself likes it, both the temporary freedom from the Dom/master, and the consequent punishment after being caught. Mr. Wilfred also does this with his servants, putting them positions where they could be free but then watching them willingly shackle themselves back unto him.
      4. It is the Dom/master’s prerogative to intentionally put his sub in a compromising situation, and then still punish the sub for allowing it to happen, even though the sub would also be punished for refusing it to happen. This is very common in the BDSM scene. There is no way for a sub to avoid punishment, the sub may merely pick the route to get there.
      5. I’m not sure what your question is asking.
      6. Where does it say meat is unavailable in heaven?
      7. Mary became pregnant even though Joseph had not yet consummated the marriage with her so he could not be the father. She cried and begged and said she’s never strayed and always been faithful. Joseph eventually accepted her claim. The only logical conclusion once you accept Mary’s claim is that she was impregnated by a ghost. In mathematics this is called proof by contradiction, or proof by reductio ad absurdum, and when you conclude something absurd it means one of your assumptions was false. Monty Python’s Life of Brian explores this in depth.
      8. The Christian faith does not believe in reincarnation. It’s a strange exception that Jesus is a avatar/reincarnate of god. They also believe another avatar/reincarnate will come in the Rapture when all the good are killed and ascended to heaven and all the evil are left to wander a hellish post-apocalyptic earth. It’s unclear if that last avatar/reincarnate will need a diaper in his early years or if he’ll descend to earth fully-formed like Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Terminator.

In body there r various bodyparts r there like heart, hand, eye etc. All of them have distinct identity & work..When due to some accident one of these gets defected, then doctor remove this body part..at that time that amputed body is nt a organ anymore & it is called dead body part...like that heart can't do work of hand & vice-versa. When all of them come together then only it is called human body & works properly as an integrated interdependent system...
Just like that only in Hinduism saraswati, bramha, vishnu, shiv all r part of ecosystem with having distinct responsibilities.when as a whole they come together then we call them niyati/iswar/bhagwan/paramatma(greatest soul)....in this ecosystem all human being, trees, animals, others r part of them....as in every body atma(soul), which is part of paramatma only.... every atma(soul) irrespective of it's body shape(animal, trees, human etc) is pure...
But mind plays a real game here, which is same in born time for all living creatures. After that it learns things from surroundings & also affected by that...so if surrounding is good then thinking will be good...& Mind drives our work/decisions whether it is good or bad ...& Due to our work/decisions, we bring fortune or misfortunes for ourselves only...so krishna told in gita to devote personal minds towards him (means towards truth, justice, mercy, pardon,Modesty, humility) so people's mind won't be affected by materialistic things like injustice, tyrrany, arrogance etc....& Mind can get the voice of your inner soul(which is part of God only) & ur works will be divine.... krishna told these things to Arjun in gita.. literally allah, god, paramatma r same only...here krishna just told Arjun how to behave in difficulties, how to take decision at that time, what things we have to keep in our mind before doing anything & through Arjun he dedicated this philosophical knowledge to whole world....So Gita is simply ART of living in the mouth of God.. there is nothing hindu, muslim, Christian in it....

It's funny how all religions misrepresent atheism, it's as if they are trying to antagonize atheism because wait if they don't what if they treat atheism for what it truly is a non-belief in existence of super natural(God) , the natural itself is so beautiful that you don't need supernatural. We are not immoral hedonists, we don't say that eat and sleep, each atheist has a different philosophy and bhagvad Geeta if ceiticised from modern lense is filled with not only immoral acts but effect of which can be seen on modern society.
Also Hitler used all the dogmas of religion (the German church was always on his side) I find it very ignorant of you to claim that nazis were atheist when they all claimed that they are doing the work of God.
And do you always kill all chemicals? What a stupid argument and great strawman of atheist philosophy.

" if one doesn't believe in god then there are no rules" ??? (4:26). I guess i am too common to understand the wisdom in that because i just cannot help but wonder where the ethics of non believers stand there.

People who are there believe in god thats why they are there ....He is a great scholar but if he complicates the topic with upanishads and other stuffs things will be complicated for common people...
