Gremlins 2 is always tossed in the "so bad it's good" section or dismissed entirely - most people miss what a phenomenally clever, superbly crafted film it really is.
The fact that Hulk hogan is casually sitting in the movie theatre with his wrestling gear on and the WWF/E title with a bag of popcorn and a soda ... it makes me laugh every single time.
Gremlins 2 is amazing. I don't understand that hate this movie gets, I really don't, its fantastic. The scene where Billy is arguing with people about the symantics on how gremlins work is hilarious.
I didn't know people didn't like Gremlins 2. It's fucking amazing and at the time it came out everyone I knew viewed it as proof that sequels could be better.
After watching the dead meat reveiw of Gremlins 2 made me love it even more because it shows how Joe put the things in the movie and what he was spoofing
I was nine when this came out. My sister and I were going to a shitty day camp run by our daycare. Our mother had just lost her job. So she said, “Fuck it…”, came to pick us up, and we had a lovely lunch and then went and saw “Gremlins 2: The New Batch”. That experience will always be one of my fondest childhood moviegoing memories, and that film remains one of the best sequels of all time.
Why does everyone complain about the "after midnight" thing but never complain about werewolves turning during a full moon. You could have a full moon in the middle of the day or on the other side of the world
@@kurtboyer299 Have you ever seen Trae Young? I swear that he's half werewolf. He just hasn't transformed all the way. When he does the league is in trouble.
My aunt took me to see a movie on afternoon and thought I should pick the movie. Naturally I picked Gremlins 2. I remember she walked out after the movie with me saying what the hell was that? 😂 😅I think I was 10.
I'm trying to remember why I DIDN'T see it in theaters. I'd seen the first one when I was 5 or so I guess (the typical story, mom thought it was a fun kids movie, it's one of my earliest theater memories), absolutely loved it. I saw everything "big" through the early 90s but somehow Gremlins 2 didn't meet my eyes until cable. I'd have been 10 or 11 in 1990 also, I should have been all over it.

It’s a fun masterpiece

I have seen Gremlins 2 so many times I can't tell you how many... enough to wear out the VHS tape I had it on 🤷♂️
love Tarantino. Gremlins 2 is my all time favorite movie and Temple of Doom has always been my absolute favorite Indy movie.
i love this movie for many reasons, but mostly because it introduced me to the music of Slayer.

Love Joe Dante movies. The howling was great too.

These games are fun to play. What I want to know is how a Werewolf would automatically have a nice scoring touch in basketball.

the girl gremlin was pretty fine! NGL

Watching this movie now. The gremlin who gets into the brain hormones reminds me a bit of AI.
I love his films but Gremlins 2 went too far for me.
Tarantino has gone crazy! This is worse than his Temple of Doom take!
Agreed. For someone who is usually right on the money, I find it hilarious how off he is at times. 😂😂
Temple of Doom is easily my fav Indy film. Always has been. Gremlins 2 is just fun man
@@supes12 Agreed. Temple of Doom is pure Indy at his finest. Gremlins 2 is ok. I much prefer the horror meets Norman Rockwell of the original.
