Thanks for sharing this with us. I'm thinking about carrying out some mods on my Squire. Really enjoyed the videos. Subbed the channel. Best wishes from the UK. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
It is possible to remove the pickguard without removing the neck. You just need to lift it up a bit from the bridge side first, then slide it out from under the 22nd fret.
That's what I was thinking, if just to prevent scratches. Tonight I took this body and a different 22-fret neck, put them together, and then added the pickguard after, so it did work.
Probably normal, especially if it's a bit older than the body in my video. A lot of the tributes and other series that are meant to be true to the originals would not have shielding paint.
@@hacksguitarhobby thanks I really appreciate the answer, well the serial number is from 2021 but as you said is meant to be true to the originals maybe is for that, thanks again.
I'm so excited but nervous, it's my birthday today and I got money so I wanna buy spray paint and tape and all that to make a black and white frankenstrat
There are are lots of good videos on YT to watch and get tips. There are also lots of cheap guitars on Facebook marketplace you can pickup for practice!
Why are you messing around with a perfectly good guitar? You can buy a great body online for very little to do your project. Too late! I'll take the neck.

yeah but i would raise the neck pickup a lot to make it easier to take out

I have a fender artist jimi hendrix, I already opened but inside the body didn't have that coating of black shielding paint, is it normal?

Do you know what color is it ? Polar White ? Arctic White ? Olympic White ?
I’m reasonably sure this was polar white.
I heard a lot about problems with the highway 1 neck.
Interesting, I hadn’t, but the biflex necks I’ve seen haven’t had the best track record. I’ve had four of them recently, and two had problems.

i needed to see the tremolo removed
Wasn’t in the cards for that project. Perhaps another time; I’m sure it won’t be the only Player Strat I disassemble.
Those little holes are not for CNC but improving the sound of body and neck
Never heard that one before. I have heard they were put there by aliens though.

Strats are like Legos to me… take them apart, put them together in different combinations, etc. I buy/sell parts, also. Makes an ok video. :)
