- Sims children and teens are not so fun in the game, since they are away at school most of the time. Now with this Boarding School you can follow your kids and play their day to day school life with all the drama. Inspired by Dark Academia and Magic Schools alike, I thought this gives you the right amount of inspiration for gameplay or other builds. I hope you like it! #School #BoardingSchool #TheSims4

This is so beautiful! I love all the lore & dirty kitchen & bathroom haha. Adds so much character! I imagine it's a school that on paper pretends to be prestigious (they were), but in reality they couldn't even afford to pay for a lot of the staffs, so many of them quit. They're on the brink of bankruptcy but manage to "swindle" a lot of rich folks to donate & send their kids there to keep them afloat. The school is basically ruled by the seniors that teaches the young ones to be just like them.
& as Guidry seems to be one of their late teachers, it must have been that way for generations! Haha. I imagine the students had formed a close knit community of their own. All super wild.
(I also imagine this to be a haunted house lot type 🤭 where they are constantly being haunted & Guidry teaches ghost hunting lesson).
None of their parents there to knew of this. (I'm headcanoning that some of them are like the tv classic snobbish parents that don't really care about their kids beyond their results. Or alumni? that were cursed with magic or vampirism haha)

This gives me motivation to finish the Balmoral House I started two years ago I saw on Pinterest! Would love if we got more variety of castle themed pieces like antique decor and the ability to have proper round towers! And maybe more levels 😅

I've been looking everywhere for a detailed dark academia style (or dark in general style haha) high school build for Copperdale and this is perfect! My Copperdale is definitely more The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina so all of the regular high schools stick out like a sore thumb lol. I'm hoping the game will let me place this as a high school lot and I can just add what would be missing to make it a functional high school. If you're considering a high school related build it would be awesome to see one in a darker style considering it seems very few (if any) have attempted one since high school years came out T_T. Forever in awe of your builds, thank you!

Yeah. Usually my chat is very quiet and there is not so mich interaction. I believe that’s because they have it turned on in the background and do other stuff. This is totally fine by me. But when we did the dorm rooms one by one, suddenly everyone was writing instructions, which hobby, which floor who shares a room with whoom and how to sneak out at night. All those stories. As if we were there for real. It was absolutely fun!

You are an amazing builder, this build gives me Harry Potter/Tombraider vibes, I love the library, the only thing missing from this build was the computer labs/class rooms, as well as computer in the library.
But even so such a truely amazing build, thank you for sharing it.

Yeh. The boarding school I nearly went to was a monastery turned castle for some lord and then turned school. I think the chapel was the private one for the lord and built later. Since there is a big ass church on the premise, think that was the main initial building. It’s also a weird area of a lot of different buildings all in kind of styles and uses. 😂
@@Simproved omg! First time being replied to by the creator herself! I am beyond thrilled! I came from a Catholic school with a chapel inside despite having a big ass cathedral just beside it. As a student we seldom used it, and it had always creeped me out because it was always dark there. There have been major changes to that school since I have been there and if I’m not mistaken they might’ve turned it into a pool. I’m not entirely sure though. 😅

JonLevi, Old Scary World, and Paul Cook have TH-cam channels that talk about it and its fascinating history. Why should that matter to you? Because its buildings were absolute masterpieces of engineering and art to behold. ♓
This is much much better if EA could actually put Boarding School as a lot option.😯😯😯😯😯
NB : EA goes overboard to make Community Lots for Adults, but barely anything for Kids.
